Kanji is my absolute go to for all things sushi in Mount Joy. Are use the online ordering and pay when I pick up. The food is super fresh and I always have great portions. I seriously could eat here three times a week but my wallet doesn’t allow me too! Go get some miso soup

Great place to visit and eat. It is in a strip mall, so the actual place is pretty small and cramped. The environment is conducive to sit down and eat and the staff that we dealt with was pleasant and attentive. They seem to have more call in and take out orders than sit down orders. The food ‘seems’ authentic. We really enjoyed the Kani salad. It was delicious. But prices are pretty good with dinner plates ranging 10-15 per plate. We did not order any sushi but the couple of rolls that we saw looked delicious. We would come here again to eat.

Quaint place, nicely decorated with soothing music playing in the background. The food was delicious and the staff was nice. Right now they have specials, I took a picture of them I had the Jack-o-Lantern roll and it was delicious! Great family-run spot in Mt. Joy for a Japanese and/or Chinese meal. Cozy atmosphere and seating with nice lunch options for smaller portions. The Green Curry sauce is delicious with just the right amount of sweet to heat. The vegetable tempura is cooked perfectly.

food was good but as i was eating i bit down on something hard at first i thought it was a crispy piece of chicken but no. it was a staple. i got nieces and nephews who ate it too that are 2 and 3 years old. what if it was one of them.

I’ve been coming here since 2018 and I will never stop! The sushi is the best I’ve had in the area and the owners are very sweet. As for other entrees, their portion sizes are amazing! So much food. My boyfriend and I order from here almost once a week, we love it that much! I always recommend Kanji when someone asks where I get my Japanese food from. Anything I’ve ever tried on the menu (which is a lot), I’ve never been disappointed by. Go here!

Small, really small place. Had to wait 40 minutes for a table. Given free ice cream! Food was decent. Some mistakes. Order chef specials OR fried rice over the sushi. Cold soup. Owner-family was amazingly nice. Decor is fun, but unprofessional.
