The waiting area also needs improvement. It’s uncomfortable sitting right next to people who are trying to enjoy their meals while you’re just stuck waiting. By the time I finally got my food (after about 15 minutes), I still had a 25-minute drive home, which made the whole experience not really worth it compared to closer and faster options.
As for the food, the noodles were decent quality but lacked much flavor. The pork belly however, was amazing and tender.
I do wish they had actual ramen takeout bowls rather than the regular round bowl, my broth was spilling out of the bowl when I ate my ramen.
Overall, I’d probably choose somewhere closer and quicker next time.
If you haven’t been here yet, please go. You won’t be disappointed.
Ramen and their Thai dishes are also so good. Highly recommend!
We ordered drunken noodles, pineapple fried rice and a deep fried sushi type of thing.
The food was very good!
The tastes were all amazing. All the food was super hot when we got it at the table.
I tried a Tai green cold tea for the first time and it was very good.
The resturant was clean and well kept.
The staff was attentive and did a good job.
The bathrooms are single toilet rooms with a locking door.
They were clean and well stocked with all the nessities.
They could use an update but nothing was out of place or anything bad.
We went in on a Monday night, an hour before closing. No one else was dining. The aesthetics gives off Chinese take out vibes and not Japanese. That threw me off a bit especially with the implications of chinese take out being greasy and what not. We ordered sushi rolls and duck curry. The server went to the back and informed us we were out of duck so I chose chicken instead. Right before our food were suppose to come out. I was informed by the server again that they were out of white rice? But were able to substitute it for stir fried.
So my duck curry ended up being chicken curry with stir fried rice.
The server was friendly. The service was not very quick considering we were the only ones there. I don’t think they were expecting anyone to come in so late.
Overall, food was decent but not a place I would dine in again. I would say get takeout if you want to try out this place.
I’m a Thai food enthusiast from CT and they have it right here! All of it done perfectly with elegance and passion you can tell by the first bite of food the love for this they have here. Please please please give them the love they deserve here! BECAUSE THEY TRULY DESERVE IT!

Kani Japanese and Thai is THE PLACE. We are visiting from out of town and this place is absolutely the best Japanese and Thai food we’ve ever had.
Got a california roll, shoyu ramen, and steam gyoza, and it is the BEST we’ve ever had.
Thank you for amazing, yummy food. When we come back to New York, we will be here!!!
I really liked their Thai Ice tea.
We tried cooked eel sushi for the first time and really liked it.
