The sushi was good but we have had better at other restaurants – to which I will rather return. Our server was great! Friendly, helpful, polite.
Our hibachi chef was not only skilled but incredibly entertaining, turning the entire meal into a fun and engaging experience. The food was phenomenal, perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection, and full of rich, authentic flavors.
We left completely satisfied and already looking forward to our next visit. This restaurant has earned a permanent spot on our list of favorites. We will definitely be returning!
I went my son and grandson. It was his first time there. The grandson is a very picky eater and Kani hit the sweet spot. He was thrilled with the chef’s table side theatrics.
Most importantly he loved the fried rice!
Everything was cooked to perfection. Of course, the price was right. Similar in every way to Benihana without the sticker shock!! In addition, there were hefty portions served to everyone. What a bargain!
I’ll definitely be returning- again and again!!!
Unfortunately, our overall experience was significantly impacted by how management handled a disruptive situation in the dining area. An altercation began between two women at the restaurant. One individual was clearly being disruptive, and management was notified but chose not to intervene. The situation escalated quickly, resulting in yelling and profanity in a dining room full of patrons, including numerous children. The disturbance disrupted everyone’s meal and created an uncomfortable environment.
While disagreements between guests can happen anywhere, what was most disappointing was that even after the escalation, both parties were allowed to remain as though nothing had occurred. There was no visible effort to de-escalate the situation or protect the dining experience of other customers.
When I approached the manager, Tony, to discuss the matter and ask what steps would be taken, I was told they had done nothing wrong and that the individuals had every right to remain. That response was concerning and reflected a lack of accountability for maintaining a safe and enjoyable atmosphere.
When guests choose to dine out and spend a decent amount of money, they should reasonably expect a comfortable and professionally managed environment. Regardless of the quality of the food, the lack of a caring or concerned management response we will not be returning.
One thing slightly lessened our experience, though. Another chef was nearby rushing Matt to leave our table and even said to him, “If you want conversation, get their phone number. “ Very unprofessional. I wish I could have gotten that one’s name. We are very happy customers BECAUSE of the conversation, not in spite of it. Overall a great experience.
Table area next to us sat after us and had quicker service.
Our full meal was not complete until 9:30pm.
There was no chef engagement or entertainment…there was at other tables. One of the main reasons for going to a place like this is that.
This chef seemed tired…he took a very long time to cook each food item. Other tables chefs were cooking multiple foods simultaneously.
The food was then much colder but also bland. When we asked for a manager, Toni Phan came over and was argumentative. He stated we were not being honest…he stated every chef cooks and does the same…which you could clearly see was not true. He placed his hand on his hip and dismissed our issues. He berated us and thought it was funny.
The grill was not real clean before or after cooking. Two out of the three of us got sick after.
Also, I asked for to go containers for the sauce. The waiter brought over 3 and gave them to my brother (who did not ask but wanted them, started filling his up). When I asked the waiter for mine he said he gave them to him and to get one from him.
When the manager saw us before leaving he continued taunting us.
We were forced to pay for horrible service and food.
UPDATE: 5/14/2025
The response to my review asked me to call to discuss my concerns. No name or phone number was given. When I called and asked for a manager I was told they were busy…Then I stated the reason for my call.
I then got Ivan. He knew nothing of this. While telling him the issue he made excuses, he offered me 20% off of my next visit. He would do nothing else.
He stated all chefs are different and he could look at the cameras to see what the chef did.
He stated they don’t look at the reviews, someone outside does and then would get with the manager I had an issue with…this is all laughable.
