You can enjoy the AYCE bbq buffet for just $30. Pineapple steak is sweet and delicious, so it is worth trying. There is a ramen restaurant together. If you have plans to visit the University of Maryland, or if you pass by, it is worth taking the time to visit.

Ok, so I avoided this place for years because I heard it was mediocre and that good Korean BBQ only happened in Annandale, VA. It very much feels like a place that’s in transition; apparently they have new management, have a new Ramen menu, and are planning – according to the staff we spoke with – to revamp the BBQ menu and that section of the restaurant. So at the moment it kinda feels like two places in one, struggling to find an identity. The Ramen menu was concise but good and included a few Korean staples like beef Bulgogi and Mandu dumplings. For me, the Bulgogi (served with rice, kimchi, and a fresh lettuce salad) was just so-so; not particularly flavorful. On the positive side, the dumplings (fried) were excellent. The service felt inexperienced and tentative, but friendly and helpful enough. The bottom line is that they have some kinks to work out, but the place does have promise and could become really good under the right leadership. I’ll check in again at some future point once their BBQ operation is up and running.

Well certainly an interesting experience I live in Montreal and we don’t have a lot of Korean restaurants and yes I really enjoy kimchi and bibimbap the waiter suggested as I like kimchi go with a traditional dish kimchi fried rice and yes certainly very enjoyable I did notice that on the table they have hot plate where they would cook on the table for you but when it’s just me I don’t do it.

When we came in for lunch, we were told that there was a 20min wait (more like 40min). It did seem like they were understaffed, which explains why all the tables couldn’t be filled. They do have a large menu posted outside so you can look at it while waiting or ask for one if you wait inside.

Last minute dinner and this was the nearest place we could find. It looks and feels somewhat like a Korean restaurant but not so much as far as the quality of food and slow service. We had the Orioles Combo choosing the Korean Beef “Brisket” which was definitely bulgogi, Pork Belly (sliced thinner than we like and only 3 slices), lastly the marinated short rib which was also not a decent serving (maybe 10-12 bite sizes once sliced). The “brisket” didn’t look that fresh and the short ribs were too fatty and very chewy. I am also not used to having separate meats all thrown on the grill at once (pro tip, use a piece of fat to oil up before the food is tossed on, which this place doesn’t do). The grill was also slanted and if you sat at the upper angle of the grille, you were literally blasted with heat as the smoke eliminator was useless. The tongs were a workout using and we had to cook the meats until nearly charred for it to be somewhat edible. The rice was also dry and looked and tasted like it had been sitting then reheated (sticky at some point earlier in the day). Table was also sticky and although real wood is nice, you should expect to clean and maintain it throughout the day. Lastly, a sports bar/or any bar should have at least one beer on tap, which this place didn’t. Never going here again and I would go to a buffet before this, hell even cook at home for the same price! There is a China Buffet and a Seafood Buffet right down the street, those would be literally a better choice as well.

The best part of my meal was my strawberry soju, and the conversation with my friend….Would not come back. Very inattentive service. While waiting 40 minutes for my KBBQ order of beef bulgogi and brisket, I watched 3 tables receive prompt service of cooked and complete meals while I sat with a cold egg on the table for 20+ minutes and no food (which I have to cook myself I might add). The bus person, mopped and cleaned with strong smelling cleaners while we ate, directly next to our food and added to the unsatisfying experience. When we finally received our food, the bulgogi tasted old, I had to wait again for chopsticks, the rice was dirty with something in it (was not burnt). All around bad experience. Thanks to the manager for trying to fix it with a new egg but the damage was done.

My absolute favorite Korean ramen spot! Every thing is always delicious. Highly suggest the fried mandu and karaage and any of the ramen dishes. My husband and I come frequently. And they’re always friendly, especially the owner.

The food was alright but I assume it’s because we were very hungry, the meat nor sauce’s were very seasoned. Your first two servers were unenthusiastic but the rest of the staff were very friendly.

Ordered bibimbap and the veggie grill (carry out). Got home, took a few bites, and made the disgusting discovery that there was a *cricket* in the bibimbap. Obviously threw all the food away at that point. Total waste of $35+ and would still be hungry if I hadn’t lost my appetite.
