Bustling, funky spot offering tabletop grills for Korean BBQ eats, a full bar & TVs tuned to sports.

You can enjoy the AYCE bbq buffet for just $30. Pineapple steak is sweet and delicious, so it is worth trying. There is a ramen restaurant together. If you have plans to visit the University of Maryland, or if you pass by, it is worth taking the time to visit.

I would give five star for the Ramen and how it tasted. I got the Black Red straight noodles (5/5). The broth has excellent flavor. It was spicy for my lips tp burn slightly but was craving for the next bite immediately. It was temp hot as well. My server was very friendly and was wearing mask, but not every employee was wearing a mask. There is limited parking on the side of the restaurant.
But second time I got the Korean Fried chicken (4/5) but it’s very expensive and it doesn’t come with rice. Being in a college town spending $10 for fried chicken without rice is too much. So the three stars.

Ok, so I avoided this place for years because I heard it was mediocre and that good Korean BBQ only happened in Annandale, VA. It very much feels like a place that’s in transition; apparently they have new management, have a new Ramen menu, and are planning – according to the staff we spoke with – to revamp the BBQ menu and that section of the restaurant. So at the moment it kinda feels like two places in one, struggling to find an identity. The Ramen menu was concise but good and included a few Korean staples like beef Bulgogi and Mandu dumplings. For me, the Bulgogi (served with rice, kimchi, and a fresh lettuce salad) was just so-so; not particularly flavorful. On the positive side, the dumplings (fried) were excellent. The service felt inexperienced and tentative, but friendly and helpful enough. The bottom line is that they have some kinks to work out, but the place does have promise and could become really good under the right leadership. I’ll check in again at some future point once their BBQ operation is up and running.

Our salesperson from Sport Honda, Josue Canas, suggested this restaurant to us when we told him we were looking for authentic Korean BQQ. Glad he did! We’ve been to Iron Age before and liked it for the most part, but it was way too loud there. Kangnam felt more family-friendly. The attached ramen bar made my kids extremely happy too (They are ramen fanatics!) We ordered the Nationals BBQ combo, peach soju, Hite, Tonkotsu T black straight noodle, Shoyu classic wavy noodle, mango creamy soda, and an orange marble soda. The Hite beer was new to us and is similar to American lite beer with a sweeter aftertaste. Soju is similar to a wine cooler with a higher alcohol content. The kids loved their sodas and were super entertained by the marble soda. All of the meats from our platter were delicious! Not full of gristle or fat like other places. My favorites were the pork bulgogi, Kim chi, and pickled vegetables. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the Korean singing/dancing competitions they played on the TV. My kids loved their ramen and said they want to go back soon! We had loads of food to take home with us. Looking forward to breakfast tomorrow

The food and salad bar were satisfactory. My server was friendly and efficient. However, the some items in the salad bar, such as curry or fries, didn’t complement the BBQ atmosphere. Wish they have some soup options instead of these. Furthermore, the interior design and lighting, like what you’d see in Brawl Stars world championships, don’t seem to match well with the music.
So, I’d be willing to pay an extra $6-8 at IronPig in Greenbelt because of the slightly better quality meat and soup they offer. However, if I have more time to travel, I would go AYCE bbq in Laurel or honey pig in Ellicott City or Rockville.

The food is good, the service could be a whole lot better. Some of the staff seems inpatient and a bit pushy. I didn’t like that they immediately place my order of ramen in a take home container as if I didn’t deserve a bowl.

A Unique Dining Experience
This is my first time doing a Korean BBQ.
And I gotta say, that the experience itself was fun and different. We were seated right away but not served as quickly. All of the servers look under the age of 25 and are probably college students given the location. They probably spend more of their time avoiding coming to tables than they do actually looking for customers who need help. Every time we needed something we definitely had to flag one of them down. I’ve almost gotten to the place where I don’t expect to get A1 service in Prince George’s County. However, as long as you can wave, and shout ‘Excuse me..” You’re good! All of us had the buffet option which is basically all you can eat of whatever meat options there are. And there are many! Beef, chicken, pork, and seafood along with bowls of rice, kimchi and pickled spicy ginger, lettuce and a variety of tasty sauces for dipping or dripping. The meats are prepared right there at your table on a cast iron grill. You do share responsibility with the wait person to make sure that your meat does not burn. Parking is tight and somewhat limited. But all in all definitely worth the trip. If you order the buffet everyone at the table has to order the buffet. also make sure you read the small print about leftovers They do charge if you order more than you can eat. Everything was pretty tasty and we sampled almost everything except the seafood. I recommend that you try a Korean BBQ at least once.

Well certainly an interesting experience I live in Montreal and we don’t have a lot of Korean restaurants and yes I really enjoy kimchi and bibimbap the waiter suggested as I like kimchi go with a traditional dish kimchi fried rice and yes certainly very enjoyable I did notice that on the table they have hot plate where they would cook on the table for you but when it’s just me I don’t do it.
All in all a good experience also the lady at the best western had suggested going here was worth it will go back again as there are other dishes I would like to try. Fish stew sounds good

Me and my cousin had a wonderful time. We got the Washington football team deal and we tore it up! You get the soup with it and several side dishes with dips. We were loving the salad that came with it and they had their own house made dressing. We said we going to come back to try the buffet during the week.
