Excellent Thai in the centre of Bendigo. The restaurant has a good energy, friendly staff and nicely decorated interior. Good wine and beer selections. The food is very good and there’s an extensive menu to select from. The coconut prawns, Massaman beef and chicken with cashew nuts were all delicious.

On a super hot evening, we found a little place of solace at Kang Thai! Everything was superb culinary-wise, from my refreshing pink grapefruit soda to the delicious mains and our special dessert treat. What a delightful mango ice-cream and sticky rice pudding. We are already talking about our next visit. The staff were beautifully attentive and just plain nice people. Highly recommend.

The place open at 11 am. Order the food. When the food is served, the taste is more thaneexpected. Taste great. The guy who served also very nice, very polite.

What an authentic Thai restaurant with just sumptuous absolutely amazing Thai food cooked to perfection. We ordered 4 lunches and every single dish was delicious and perfect… the ambiance of the place was so inviting and the cleanliness has to be stated… everything was sparkling clean. The staff were so beautiful and very welcoming and kind. If we have to drive 2 hrs to get here just to eat in Bendigo I’d do this again.. highly recommend for a great experience and amazing food… totally worth it

The Khao Soi sauce was flavourful, and the chicken drumsticks were nicely cooked through. However, the chicken breast pieces hadn’t absorbed the flavours of the sauce. The cold Thai milk tea was absolutely refreshing, while the hot Thai milk tea wasn’t to my liking – it almost seemed like they’d forgotten to add milk. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

The food was fantastic and probably the best Thai we have had in a long time. We had the Ma Nor and Roti for entree and they were both fabulous. We then followed up with the Chicken Cashew Nut stir fry and Penang Curry and they were both really tasty. We did ask for no MSG but the flavour was still fabulous. We would be back but just here from Sydney, so a long way from home.

I had dinner with my daughter at this restaurant for New Year’s Eve dinner. The seats were already reserved, but the service staff still found us a window seat. The food was super delicious and the service was great. This delicious and beautifully designed Thai restaurant is a rare gemstone located on the busy streets of Bendigo, a must go!!! Their Thai Milk Tea is a must have sweet yet with just the right bittersweet, served always with their friendliness!

A wonderful Thai Eatery in Bendigo. Went with family as part of an anniversary celebration on a Sunday. Pretty crowded and booked a table earlier. Nice food, service, street side parking and nice ambience. There are so many dishes to explore. It took almost 50 minutes to get the food on table owing it was a Sunday. Highly recommended

Great as always. Food tasty, my daughter loved it. 4 stars because I have eaten nicer here previously. Atmosphere 4 because a large table beside us were loud so we couldn’t talk or hear each other but once they left if was very enjoyable. Thanks we’ll be back.
