The service was second to none. I did not catch her name, but there is a lovely woman, well-dressed with amazing energy waiting pretty much every table in the place and we didn’t feel neglected for a moment. She has a beautiful accent and made the experience worth-while. The food was a bit underwhelming, I am sad to say. I ordered King Crab Legs (comes with 2 sides) Crab legs were delicious, but outrageously expensive. 1.5 lbs of crag legs isn’t much for an $84 price tag. My sides were some barely-warm, naked button mushroom that looked like an after-thought tossed onto a plate and some tasty, but again, barely-warm cajun fries. Portions should be MUCH larger for the price tags on pretty much everything. Winners were the Husband’s blackened Snapper and the daughter’s steak. Crab cakes amazing and melt in your mouth, but only 3 of them and tiny for the $16 price tag. Their chocolate Cayenne creme Brulee is Amazing. So, is it worth a try? Hell yes. Stick to the openly priced items or at least be sure to ask the price of the seafood up front before you commit. I will definitely give them another try in about a year after they’re a little more established and hopefully prices have calmed down a notch and portions have improved.

The food was OK at best. Everything deep fried was overcooked. The service was really slow when it wasn’t even busy, so I’d hate to see the service when they get busy. We probably won’t eat here again. If you are looking for a good meal, I’d say there are definitely better places around town.
Pictures updated, right restaurant reviewed. The gator was beyond crispy.

We started off with cocktails and an alligator appetizer. The cocktails were great and the app was ok. My pasta dish was amazing. Pack full of seafood and had great flavor. My bf had the creole dish with rice and beans. He said it was good but would try something different next time. They have an impressive menu and the service was top notch. We will be back!

What a great place! I love the mood of the restaurant. Like Cajun meets New Orleans! First of all, a very impressive bourbon menu. I ordered a couple and had them smoked. You have to try this. It adds so much flavor and a bit of intrigue when they bring it. We had the alligator for an appetizer and it was great!! The shrimp and crawfish etouffee packed a lot of flavor. The seafood boil and crab legs were perfect! Others said the lobster mack and french dip were delicious too! You have to check out this place. Lots of choices that all sound amazing. I’ll be back to try more too. So what are you waiting for?

The fish here was really fresh. My wife and I enjoyed the catfish nuggets and fried shrimp. The blackened snapper tasted a little off but we’ve never had blackened snapper. The server immediately gave us half off when we told her. I would definitely go back to this place. This place just opened and is already on its way to making a positive impact in this community. Good job guys!

We started with the peel/eat shrimp which were huge and delicious, great cocktail sauce! I had the Jambalaya which had the perfect amount of heat and was as good as any I’ve had in New Orleans. My wife had the Heart of New Orleans salad and was very happy with it but couldn’t finish it all, so I had to step in and help 😉
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We were helped by Mandy and she provided excellent recommendations and we can’t wait to return!!

Went yesterday (28 June 2023), on their first official night of being open. They’re menu isn’t busy but does indeed have enough to catch your eye and not overwhelm you. Their drink menu (didn’t take a picture of it), Is pretty good, bourbon bar so lots of bourbon. Had a server by the name of Jennifer who was just the sweetest woman possible. Look forward to the next time!

A brand new hidden gem in Gaylord, MI.
If you like Cajun style meals, Seafood, and Bourbon, this is the place for you. I tried this place for the first time last Friday and all though, I’m not much of bourbon fan, this place has a huge selection of bourbon. The Scallops were excellent, and I strongly suggest the tender pork belly bites to get started! Since I’m not not much into bourbon, I chose The Kraken which is a meal in itself, if you like Bloody Mary’s. The rest of my table had the Sea scallops with a variety of sides which were all highly spoke of by my guests. This place is very unique in decor as in no two tables are the same furniture wise. Very unique to say the least! Excellent service, excellent wait staff, and and excellent presentation of food!
I can’t say enough about this place, I will definitely be back as I was blown away for my first impression. Definitely give it a try. If even for the bourbon.

Such a cool atmosphere and awesome menu! We got the kraken Bloody Mary and the crawfish dip appetizer, both were amazing! Service was great. We will definitely be back for dinner and brunch. 10/10

This place is so unique. They have a nice patio area but, we chose indoors which was very comfortable and fun to look at. We had amazing customer service and we recommend the alligator bites, PoBoy and… don’t skip the dessert because the bread pudding and peach cobbler were outstanding!
