Staying at the Murrieta Hot Springs and looking for healthy and hearty food. Kan Zaman is fantastic tasty Mediterranean food right across the street. Big portions at excellent prices. One meal was enough for both lunch and dinner!
We ate in the restaurant day 1 and had take out day 2 and had a good experience both times. We had chicken kebab, lamb kebab, and the the beef Edna kebab. Chicken and lamb were juicy and tasty. Side order of tabbouleh was excellent. Beef Edna was good but not spicy.
We highly recommend and will be back next time we’re at the Hot Springs!

Today we decided to try and new place and my gosh are we glad we did, this is now our go to place. The food was absolutely delicious, everything was so fresh. From presentation to the customer service, the establishment was very clean and tidy. Saif our server was very attentive and checked in on us regularly, can’t wait to try new dishes next time. ( I had the Sahara Beef)

We have ate there several times before with just the 2 of us, and also with our friend group. Tonight we ate with a couple who are long-term friends.
As always the food in quantity, quality and taste was too notch.
I had the lamb shwerma, my wife head the beef shwerma, one friend had the chicken kabob and the other had the Greek salad.
All were exceptional and the three meat dishes were served with a very tasty and generous Village Salad and rice, with the shwermas being served on a pita.
I for got about this, and generally ask for a larger salad and no rice or pita as I’m on keto diet.
It was a very busy night, but we were able to enjoy comfortable conversation at the table without straining to hear.
The service was fantastic, without visiting too often and also not being absent.
I strongly recommend a reservation at least on weekends nights.

My nephew just bought a home in Murrieta and he and his wife have been wanting to take us here. We LOVE Mediterranean food so we came up from San Diego for a nice family dinner here at Kan Zaman.
Once you walk in, you feel like you’re somewhere in the Mediterranean in a family’s home. The smells caught my nose immediately and I was super excited for the feast that was about to come!
We were greeted by Maggie. My nephew and his wife are regulars and were welcomed with such warm
hospitality.
Maggie’s attention to detail and knowledge of the menu helped us in choosing our dinners.
Our food came out and was served to us by the most courteous wait staff.
The food was 5/5. Everything we got was DELICIOUS.
To start we ordered Tabouleh, the Hummus and Babaganush that came with the most pillowy soft pita bread I have ever tasted in my life! We added the diced jalapeños and olives that came with the pita bread to every bite.
For dinners we had the Chicken Barg Kabob, Guvec Stew, Sahara Beef (the meat melted in our mouths it was extremely tender and delicious), Beef Shawarma, Chicken Shawarma, and Beef Edna Kabob.
The owner of the restaurant makes sure to greet every table and is also the busboy, cashier, and dishwasher! He is a very kind and gracious man.
We ended the meal with the most amazing Baklava Cheesecake. This my friends was the icing on the cake for me!
This is hands down my favorite restaurant to eat at in Murrieta! If you are in the area definitely make a point to eat here!

Great spot with fantastic Mediterranean food. We stopped here on our way to San Diego from Las Vegas and was very impressed by the quality and ambience.

The most delicious Mediterranean food I have had so far. The pita bread is freshly made and the hummus is delicious! Portions are large for their dinner dishes. My friend said their falafel is the best she has ever had. The perfect place to fill up after a relaxing day at Murrieta Hot Springs.

First time eating here on a sister night out. Service was wonderful, atmosphere was great. Food was fresh and delicious. I will be definitely be returning.
