Felt welcome here even we weren’t smoking hookah. Enjoyed the unique decor and feel of the place. The large booths would be perfect for big groups. We felt unrushed and enjoyed dinner – service was fast.

We had a great time at this location. We had a hookah and a tea pot. The server was very welcoming and kind. And the music was really nice and relaxing as well. It was a bit chilly in there but it was a very cold night. I’ll definitely be back with my friends.

Terrible experience, absolutely trash place.
There were insects in the food upon complaining, the staff understood there mistake and apologised us but the owner came and started bashing on us, making allegations on us and then trying to give us free food to settle it, upon telling him we don’t want free food rather just an apology he quoted ‘do whatever you want to do, i am not apologising’
At the end we still paid for everything including the food with insects.

First time here and did not disappoint. The service was amazing and the lady was super nice and patient with all of us. The Hookah was a great table conversation starter along with the flavors they offer. The food was really delicious.

This is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. I called the day before asking about the buffet for Iftar and the price they told me 15$, I didn’t believe it so when we entered the restaurant I asked again and still 15$, but for 2 people they made up pay 56$. When I asked why they said the buffet is 20$ each and the dessert which they tell you is a part of the buffet and the water!!! Which is crazy. Also they smoke inside the restaurant, which I never seen anywhere else. If you are reading the reviews to go there please reconsider

This place is amazing. I was wondering why it had a below 4 star rating and here is what’s up.
Smoke
This is a hookah bar and a restaurant. There is smoking allowed anywhere in the facility there is no separation from smoking and non smoking. The hookah is amazing ! The staff is very attentive and the atmosphere is so cozy and inviting. There are a tun of flavors you can mix and match. Our waitress made her own special flavor and it was lovely.
Food
The food is middle eastern, it seemed very authentic and it was delicious. There are vegan options and large family style meals. The bakery is amazing ! Our desserts were delicious, we were even offered one on the house which was so special!
Gratuity is included, I am not sure why people are complacent so much about that. It really ensures that the service staff is well taken care of the pricing was incredibly fair to me.
Atmosphere
Apparently they have single act Arabian musicians on Saturdays. I am definitely going back for that. The seating is so cozy, big patterned pillows and comfortable booths. The lighting is dim and there are lanterns hung from the tin drop ceiling. Middle Easter decor and authentic clothing and flags. So cool ! There is a lot to look at. They also have an outdoor patio.
I will most definitely be bringing friends to this space. Thank you Jan Zaman for the amazing hospitality and service.

I am so happy that I found this place in Cleveland while on our trip to the Asian Lantern Festival. Kan Zaman is the best, authentic Arabic food I have ever eaten. Please do not mistake this place to just another Mediterranean food place this place is much much much more than that. The first thing which will catch you attention while you enter this place is the ambiance. I felt like I was visiting Arabian Night setup. One will fall in love with the decor I bet. The food is so so so amazing. Say it chicken shish with fries, shawarma chicken with rice or Kan Zaman appetizer all were so delicious. All their hummus and ganosh tabouli are freshly made every day. The restaurant is maintained clean. Our server Amy was so nice and polite. Baklava there is too good. Not to forget this place serves Hooka of different flavors so if you or your party are a fan of hooka this place is a must visit. Good comfy seating arrangements perfect for big group or families.

Got the beef kabobs with rice. It was ok, meat was a bit salty, but it was still edible especially once I put tzatziki on it . Nothing to write home about though. Also got the basbousa which is pretty good and not dry at all. They have a nice selection of different kinds of baklava and meat/cheese pies as well in the case by the register. Overall I’d say give it a try especially if you like middle eastern foods.
