Sweet Sinay’s Reviews
Simply stated, the food puts one in mind of a roadside stall in Phnom Penh. Authentic, delicious comfort food (for me, at least). Regrettably, the prices were rather high, even for international fare.
The staff is incredibly kind, willing to share their stories and listen to mine. I noted that this was not only for me but other guests (non-Khmer guests) were getting the same treatment.
The atmosphere, to my mind, was perfect. Not excessively over decorated but with just the right touches to bring out the Cambodian atmosphere.

If you are unfamiliar with Cambodian food, this is a good place to start. It is a little distant from central Cincinnati but well worth the trip.
ឆ្ងាញ់ណាស់! (Very delicious!)

My husband and I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant and absolutely loved it! The spring rolls, red curry, and Cambodian noodle bowl were delicious and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for great Southeast Asian cuisine!

Menu items are dynamic. We had the braised beef with bread and Cambodian noodles ($43), both very delicious. You can buy drinks at the bar next door to enjoy with your food as they don’t serve alcohol. Can’t wait to come back and try all the menu items!

Absolutely amazing food and somehow even more amazing service. We got the sampler starter which was both delicious and fun to assemble our own little wraps. We also got the num pang chicken sandwich and the beef noodle soup. Both were really yummy as well. Personally loved the num pang the most, the bread was fresh and crunchy and all the flavors of the toppings inside were amazing together! We even got to try a little of each of the curries. We already had way too much food to order more, but the curries were seriously so good. Can’t wait to come back and get a full order of the curry!

Would give 10 stars if possible! Since a trip to Vietnam several years ago we have been longing for the delicious food of this wonderful part of the globe. There are some bahn mi or pho places in Cincinnati but we had yet to find a place that serves the full range of choices that you can find at Kampuchea.
The cuisine at Kampuchea is Cambodian which is very similar to the tastes of Vietnam.
The owner/chef serves wonderful food in his small and charming spot in Ft Thomas. We had the sampler- the flavor and freshness of the ingredients was fantastic! Several types of grilled meats, plus crispy pork belly, served with fresh herbs and side vegetables. Truly delicious. We will be back to try more of the menu.
If you love fresh, delicious food with extraordinary flavors, head here asap.
The owner was very welcoming and interesting to talk with. He has a great place here!

My friend suggested we try Kampuchea Kitchen before attending a recent concert. I have never tried Cambodian dishes, so this was a new experience for me. We decided to order the Summer Roll, Bao Bun and the Cambodian Noodle Bowl with beef to share. All three were absolutely delicious! Our service was so warm and inviting, almost like they’d known us for years. I would highly recommend stopping in and I will definitely be back again soon.

We’ve been here twice, most recently during Asian Food Week. Staff have been enthusiastic and welcoming, and every item we’ve tried from the menu has been delicious, with fantastic, nuanced layers of flavor. I have especially enjoyed the curries and fish dishes.

Kampuchea Kitchen is an excellent charming Cambodian restaurant! Though the menu is relatively small, all of the dishes are fresh and flavorful (lots of fresh herbs!). All of the sauces and dressings (in Lok Lak for example) are a balanced mix of sweet, sour and salty flavors.
