Kamisama became Bakersfield’s first ramen establishment, introducing authentic ramen to the city and quickly capturing the hearts of locals. As the city’s food scene evolved, so did Kamisama, adapting to the growing demand for variety while preserving the quality and warmth that originally set us apart. Now simply known as Kamisama, we’ve expanded our offerings to include a vibrant selection of noodle dishes, soup bowls, rice bowls, and grilled combos, embracing a broader Asian-inspired menu. Through our journey, we remain dedicated to providing Bakersfield with a unique dining experience, where tradition meets innovation, and every meal reflects the flavors that first made Kamisama a cherished part of the community.

Definitely check this place out! The one on Olive Dr by Neighborhood Walmart….
The katsu was freshly breaded and cooked. Tasted good. California roll was meh but its not a sushi restaurant so no big deal.
Friend got chicken katsu in his tonkatsu ramen (not a common item u add to ramen) and it was fresh n hot he enjoyed it.
The vegetable Raman is packed with fresh vegetables. The vegetables have the right amount of crunch not over cooked, not under cooked. The noodles are slightly over cooked. I had garlic and spinach added. At first it was a bit bland so I asked the waiter, Tanner what he likes in his Ramon. He suggested an order of miso soup and a few shakes of Chile powder and a drop of Chile oil. Wow! If you eat there ask for Tanner!
