This very well might be the best restaurant in Dunn, a true hidden gem. If you happen to find yourself in the area, this is the best place you can eat. The yum, yum, yum sauce was on point, the veggies were fresh and steamed perfect. The meat was tender and juicy. Don’t let the strip mall and people of Walmart scare you away from this gem. The rice and crab Rangoon was so good it was gone before I could take a picture. The seating area is clean and great for a family with kids. The value and portion sizes are great. Will come again.

First time visiting this restaurant. Based off the star rating, we decided to visit. I ordered the chicken express bowl. The lighting was nice and it was very clean inside. My order did not take long. The restaurant had just opened with only two other customers waiting to be served while they sat. The chicken was dry and a few pieces tasted different. The carrots and rice were decent. Yum yum sauce had a vinegar taste. I am not sure if that is normal at this establishment, but it’s the first time I have tried this type. I will say try for yourself to see if another item may fit your tastebuds.

Clean, quite, fresh, smells good, decent prices, festive… The customers look at you like they slow or something, but other than that it’s coo… You can really taste the difference from the other foreign eating places around here
My wife is vegan so she always get the vegetable bowl. It looks all right. I haven’t tasted it so I don’t know what it taste like but if you’re vegan or vegetarian, I’m pretty sure you will love it so try it out.

Food is delicious! The ambience, not a bit inviting. It doesn’t feel like you’re in a Japanese resto. But food is great!!! There’s enough space for dine-in. I noticed a lot of people dine in here or order ahead/takeout (not sure if they’re in DoorDash). Service is fast. Easy to park too. This is just in the complex where Walmart Erwin is.

Pretty good food. They served me a lot of, which means I’ll have enough for a second meal or to share with someone. The cashier was pretty nice.
I decided to take out and they had me done in no time. Perhaps 10-15 minutes. It was around 6pm which they were busy with a lot of orders. They still did pretty good on time.

This food is some of the best you can get at the price they serve it to you. It leaves you full by the time you are done! These days that’s hard to come by.
It is also cooked diner style, so it can take a hot minute for your food to come out. Though in my honest opinion it’s more than worth the wait. You can always negate time crunches by ordering ahead of time, though! Will come again!

‼️‼️‼️‼️ FYI: Do NOT order online with Kami Japan in Erwin. There will be ads that pop up and when you hit “order online” you have to enter your card information and it is a SCAM. Fraud prevention at SECU called me right away. SECU states it is a “subscription” and they have charged my card for $1.99 & $59.99 which SECU rejected on their end.
