Just picked up a take out order. Spotted a cockroach crawling in the waiting area not 10 feet away from the kitchen entrance. Quickly checked the food quality rating and found it to be 90. it answered all my questions. Let the employee know who proactively chased it around the waiting area and threw it out. I am not going there again. You can try if you dare.

Worst Chinese takeout I’ve ever tried! Egg drop soup, hot & sour soup were both tasteless like water and gooey. Sesame chicken was dry and not enough sauce. Cali roll (very basic sushi roll) had bad avocado in it. Mei fun shrimp noodles was just rice pasta with a few shrimps and snap peas, no sauce or anything, completely flavorless and just unbearable to eat. This place used to be good but after several years coming back, we were highly disappointed and wouldn’t ever eat here again. The restaurant is take out only so we had to eat our takeout outside and they don’t even have plastic spoons so we had to eat soup with a spork.

Ordered Teriyaki chicken meal. Everything comes separate: the rice, chicken and sauce. It was not good at all and a waste of $20 as I was unable to eat.

Delicious food and great service. Ordered takeout for a large group consisting of several different orders. Got everything perfectly right, picked it up in 30 minutes, and was very good. Definitely worth the money and the portions are fantastic. Great food, will return soon!

Consistently delicious food! My dad orders chinese food every week from Kami and absolutely loves it. Personally, I order sushi. That said, the atmosphere is lacking as the place appears to have been under construction/renovation(?) for over a year, which is disappointing. They currently do not have indoor seating available.

I have been to Kanu multiple times since they’ve been in Wesley Chapel. It used to be one my go to places and the closest sushi spot. Ever since Covid when they moved to Take Out only, the food quality had been terrible. I ordered the Seafood Triple Delight and a Dragon Roll. The triple delight was watery, it full of giant pieces of broccoli and mushrooms with barely any seafood in it. The Dragon Roll was absolutely terrible. They eel used in it was the slimiest, thinnest, oldest cut of eel that could have been used. There was so much fat that it barely had any actual piece of the “meat” of the eel. Unfortunately this is the last straw for this restaurant and I can not in good faith order anything from here again.
