Who would’ve thought I’d have one of the best pizzas while randomly stopping by a farmers market in Maui? We spotted a small food truck “Margarita’s” next to the market in Olowalu and decided to give it a try. The owner was welcoming and happily swapped out toppings and added a few extras based on what we wanted. The dough was incredibly fresh and light, and the pizza itself was absolutely delicious. They also offer gluten-free and vegan options.
We loved it so much that we planned to return another day during our trip, but missed it as the truck had already closed by around 5:30pm. We made another trip the next day just to enjoy it one last time before leaving Maui.
There are a few outdoor tables set up near the truck, nothing fancy, but the setting really stood out as the place is surrounded by fruit trees and a small farm next to it, and chickens wandering around. The whole place had this peaceful rural charm that made the experience even better.

Pizza is amazing! For someone who is TRULY glutton free this caused me no discomfort after eating like other pizzas do.
We came 3 times before we left the island and will come back during each visit.

Awesome pizza, exactly what a good Neapolitan style pizza should be. We ordered pepperoni and it was perfect with just the right amount of pepperoni grease. They also have vegan cheese which was also very good.

You need to make this stop! We ordered the margarita pie and I loved it! I wish I can take some on the plane with me and bring it back to SoCal!! The gentlemen were very nice and the pies came out fairly quick. Good crust, good sauce, good flavor overall.

Wow! Julian’s pizza needs a line ‘round the block! By the time we got it home, it was cold AND STILL DELICIOUS!! The bacon, sausage and pepperoni were delicious. Ample veggies. Delicious thin crust. And the sauce! Fortunately, we can come back for dinner this time, before we leave. Next time we’ll eat there on a picnic table. It takes about 10 minutes to make a pizza, so let’s make Julian, who is a sweetie BTW, do what he loves to do! Make lots of pizza!! You won’t be disappointed!!

The Margherita pizza’s crust was just slightly chewy compared to other wood oven pizzas I’ve experienced, but besides that it was pretty good. The capricciosa pizza, however, was delicious all around.

Great pizza that really hit the spot. We ordered the margarita and Hawaiian pizzas – which were very flavorful. All pizzas are the same 12-in size so be prepared to order a few if you’re with a group. Seating is plentiful and everything was clean when we arrived. We’ll be stopping by again very soon!

We are from NYC and needed a good pizza fix and found Kamala’s! The wood-fired pizzas were amazing – crust was just chewy enough and not greasy. We tried several pizzas – all super tasty- margherita, meat lovers, and the Kamala special. We noticed the spot when we were driving to Lahaina and made a mental note to try it out later. We enjoyed the relaxing garden setting (w the mountains as the backdrop) and pizza so much we came back a second time! What a gem.
