Reviews
We were NOT disappointed….
The restaurants decor has been updated.
The service was excellent.
The food was absolutely delicious, with large portion sizes which are all at a reasonable price.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal.
You have to take your own drink as they do not have an alcohol license, however, this was not an issue.
A cracking visit…..
I had the Lamb Biryani here and it was absolutely delicious! The rice was fragrant and perfectly cooked, and the lamb was tender, juicy, and full of flavour. The spices were balanced beautifully—rich, but not overwhelming.
What really made the experience special was the service. Mr. Dulon Karim was an absolute gentleman. He treated us with such kindness and professionalism, I truly felt like a VIP.
Exceptional food and outstanding service.
highly recommend this place
Good taste.
We ordered naan , charsi karahi and platter tandoori .
They all were good.
The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They were happy to answer our questions about the menu and offer guidance on dishes if you’re unsure.
Turning to the food: the quality and freshness of the ingredients really stood out. There was a broad menu offering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, which meant everyone at our table found something they liked. ) was richly flavoured and cooked to perfection. The spices were well-balanced bold enough to excite the palate, yet refined rather than ovely
I really enjoyed tucking into the lamb karai and garlic naan — both were bursting with flavour. The lamb was tender and perfectly spiced, with that rich, aromatic sauce you only get from a well-balanced karai. The garlic naan was soft, buttery, and had just the right amount of crisp at the edges
at peak times the place filled up quickly, so booking ahead is advisable. Also, if you like extremely hot spice, you might want to check the heat level (they were accommodating when we asked to adjust it).
I’d highly recommend Kamal Indian Restaurant if you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine in a friendly, modern setting. It’s perfect for a date night, a group outing, or simply a good curry night. I’ll certainly be going back.
I did not leave a single bit of the food.
It’s been a very long time since I had a nice karahi amazing food very friendly staff
Definitely go back again and again
The lamb is so tender, the onion bhajis are as big as tennis balls, the breads are super fresh and the mango lassi is beautiful.
Next time we’re nearby we’ll be back for more.
The chicken tikka was so beautiful I nearly proposed to it. Perfectly cooked, juicy, smoky — if this was a person it’d be dangerously attractive.
The garlic chips? Absolute 10/10. Crispy, garlicky, and powerful enough to ward off vampires, neighbours, and possibly minor demons.
And the chicken tikka masala… listen… this stuff should be jarred, branded, and sold nationwide. I’d put it on toast. I’d bathe in it. I’d consider taking it to family events to show it off. It’s that good.
The keema matar is unreal also ans surprisingly there’s no other takeaways that so that amazing mince ans pea curry recipie
If you’re thinking of ordering: do it.
If you’re not thinking of ordering: rethink your life choices.
Will 100% be back. Probably tomorrow
