I made a reservation at this restaurant for a Chinese New Year dinner with my family. I asked for a partitioned room, and they fulfilled my request. Alan, one of the managers, helped me to modify one of the CNY set dinner menu to our liking. On the day of the dinner, I brought a bottle of red wine to the dinner, and the restaurant did not charge for any bottle opening fee. All food served were hot and delicious. Some guests expressed they liked the food. Alan and a server dedicated to serve our table were attentive to change our plates and serve drinks. I had a good time that evening. The mall where the restaurant was situated had plenty of parkings, but it might still take a while to find a parking spot as many people came to this mall.

I came to this restaurant for dim sum lunch before as well, and I liked the dim sum selections being offered. You could get discount if you paid the bill by certain time.

I’ve visited Kam Tou Chinese Restaurant for both dim sum and dinner, and the customer service was excellent on both occasions. The food quality was very good—fresh and generous portions across the board.

The only downside from my dinner visit was the pea sprouts, which were a bit tough and fibrous, likely because they’re not in season. Dim sum, however, was solid with no complaints. Each dish came in a decent portion, and the server checked in frequently to refill our teapot, which was appreciated.

The restaurant was quite busy during dim sum hours, but parking was easy with plenty of free spaces available. The only inconvenience is the slow elevator to the second floor. It’s manageable, but it could be challenging for guests with mobility issues since the restaurant is upstairs.

Overall, I’m giving Kam Tou a well‑deserved four stars.

We had a private room and the service was great for our group of around 28 people. The space was perfect for hosting, and the food was excellent with zero complaints. The in-room karaoke was a huge hit and kept everyone entertained. If I needed to take a large group out again, I’d choose this place. It’s a little pricey, but definitely worth it.

Love this place, our family makes sure to visit once a month. Staff is very friendly and the interior is very nice and clean. Very large and spacious rarely ever too full or loud. Food is definitely authentic and the head chef is a pleasant and welcoming guy making sure that everything is always up to standard.

I found the front staff a little abrupt. This is the second time we were trying to get a table try. The waiting area was cold because they had a fan going full force so everyone was huddled in the different spot to try and avoid the wind. Food was good though. Last time I was there we didn’t go in because after waiting for about 10 minutes being assured there would be a table, I found nobody was leaving yet and two more parties were ahead of us. I had a time constraint and would have appreciated to be told that beforehand. Same thing happened this time but I wasn’t in a hurry. But.. It did take about 30 minutes for food to start coming to the table. I liked the rice wrap the best. The duck feet was not particularly tasty and I was disappointed.

The food is not exceptional hood or bad that I would ho out of way to come or avoid it. The service could be better. Maybe it’s because they were busy?

First time trying to dim sum here. Some dishes are very good… Anything with shrimp is quite nicely done. I didn’t like that a lot of dishes came in sets of five instead of four.

The noodle dish came with huge shrimpies. However the flavour fell short. Chicken knee is good. They offer20% off before 11 and 10% off after

Food is ok. Service is ok they seemed overwhelmed and understaffed unfortunately. The fish is good, chicken isn’t bad. The fried squid is a no go. There are other places to go to.

They rushed us to leave, they collected all our cutlery before we finished our food. No line up at the front end. Still at least 5 tables of customers at that moment. they gave us the bill, even though we didn’t ask for it. They asked for cash, even though they got a credit card machine.

We tried….
Stirred fried frozen 9 pieces of baby razor clams, half of the clams had sand inside and they put way too much corn starch with black beans sauce.. it tasted awful, not worth $15 for a small dish

Pan fried radish cake with tasteless XO sauce, radish cake got way too much powder inside, not crispy, it’s mussy.

Fish paste stuffed Chinese donut with rice noodles wrapped
It’s my worst dish ever, way too much powder with little oily fish paste stuffed inside the oily soggy soft Chinese donut with rice noodles.

Deep fried mixed meat dumplings
It’s pink color , not much ingredients inside, with thick and not crispy skins.

Sui Mai got 5 pieces, but it taste better without fake black truffle sauce on top.

So far, we like their big and hot puffy chicken feet and steamed tender pork ribs.
