I came to this restaurant for dim sum lunch before as well, and I liked the dim sum selections being offered. You could get discount if you paid the bill by certain time.
The only downside from my dinner visit was the pea sprouts, which were a bit tough and fibrous, likely because they’re not in season. Dim sum, however, was solid with no complaints. Each dish came in a decent portion, and the server checked in frequently to refill our teapot, which was appreciated.
The restaurant was quite busy during dim sum hours, but parking was easy with plenty of free spaces available. The only inconvenience is the slow elevator to the second floor. It’s manageable, but it could be challenging for guests with mobility issues since the restaurant is upstairs.
Overall, I’m giving Kam Tou a well‑deserved four stars.
The noodle dish came with huge shrimpies. However the flavour fell short. Chicken knee is good. They offer20% off before 11 and 10% off after
We tried….
Stirred fried frozen 9 pieces of baby razor clams, half of the clams had sand inside and they put way too much corn starch with black beans sauce.. it tasted awful, not worth $15 for a small dish
Pan fried radish cake with tasteless XO sauce, radish cake got way too much powder inside, not crispy, it’s mussy.
Fish paste stuffed Chinese donut with rice noodles wrapped
It’s my worst dish ever, way too much powder with little oily fish paste stuffed inside the oily soggy soft Chinese donut with rice noodles.
Deep fried mixed meat dumplings
It’s pink color , not much ingredients inside, with thick and not crispy skins.
Sui Mai got 5 pieces, but it taste better without fake black truffle sauce on top.
So far, we like their big and hot puffy chicken feet and steamed tender pork ribs.
