My wife and I both love Asian food and my wife has been wanting hand made noodles. We live in the San Fernando Valley and we haven’t found any hand made noodles in our area. So I looked on the Internet for the best hand rolled noodles and Kam Hong Garden came in second. I told my wife that we were going to dinner but I didn’t tell her where. We drove for over 1hrs in the rain ️ and traffic. We were greeted and sat down right away. Their menus are different from the picture on the website. We ordered the Beef Stew with Hand Rolled Noodles Soup and also the Leek with Minced Shrimp Boiled Dumplings and also the Saute Spicy Shrimp . We were so surprised when they brought out the food. The portions were huge and so very flavorful. Their Hand Rolled Noodles were the best Noodle we’ve ever eaten. If you want real Hand Rolled Noodles this is the restaurant that you have to come to. We took our leftovers home and had a wonderful lunch the next day.

This is truly a mom and pop local restaurant. It’s been here for years that we never tried. To our surprise, the food was good. The handmade noodles & beef were delicious and good texture. The lamb skewers were seasoned well. The meat was cooked perfectly and good quality, not the odds and ends cut. The dumpling skin was a bit too thick/doughy to my taste. We will come back again for sure.

My wife and I have been here twice since since the COVID pandemic started. We were looking for new places to try and stumbled across this hole-in-wall place. Both times the service was quick and the food was delicious. This is a local mom and pop restaurant with reasonable prices and large portions. We order the lamb soup noodles, tomato egg flat noodles, and the beef roll. The lamb soup noodle is packed with ingredients, very flavorful without being to salty. However, I think it would have been better if they gave us more soup – maybe the there was just too much ingredients. My favorite dish was the tomato egg noodles. The noodles (flat, wide noodles) had just the right amount of chewy (QQ) texture and hold very well with the sauce. It was a bit sweet and tangy. The cucumbers added a refreshing contrast to the dish. It’s a very simple dish yet very comforting. My wife really liked the beef roll – nothing special, just delicious. We really hope they can get more support during this difficult time. Cash only, parking available in a shared parking lot.

The lamb noodle soup is beyond delicious. One of the best meals I can remember. Excellent food and service.

The shredded potato dish, made of parboiled potato, had a slight snap and texture like tender papaya. So delicious.

Ridiculously cash only in the age of 2023 and the food is not good enough to make me specifically get exchanges for it. Worst dumplings I’ve ever had. The dumpling’s skin is so thick that I didn’t taste the filling in the first bite.

This is a quiet little place in a U shaped strip mall. I couldn’t decide between the lamb soup and the beef stew soup, so I tried the beef stew. Delicious! I also got the wide hand cut noodles, which were perfection–tender and just thick enough to be a bit chewy. The broth was nicely flavored (could taste a bit of five spice and hot spice). Nice chunks of beef and mui choy and green onion. One of my favorite soups in the area.
The counter person (I believe the mother?) was so sweet. She had to get her son(?) to explain to me some menu items, but both were very happy to do so. I will be back to try the lamb soup!
I should add: cash only. But worth it!

got surprised by how much meat in my lamb noodle! The beef ball in the soup was fried right before, so tastes delicious

This is what I call honest good food. Down to earth interior, simple menu , friendly services and very good noodles. Another great spot for lunch.

Each time I’ve come here each time I leave feeling “meh”

Despite the varied dishes we’ve ordered the only one worth mentioning (or remembering for that matter) are the knife cut noodles. They’re cooked perfectly, have an excellent texture, and whole dish is overall enjoyable. It’s a simple dish with pleasant flavors.

Overall, while the knife cut noodles were enjoyable I don’t think it’s worth driving out here just to eat them. With the rest of the menu being forgettable you won’t miss a beat skipping this place.

Great Lamb and Beef Noodles soup
The bowl comes with 3 types of noodles (choices of noodles -thin, thick or handmade, plus tofu noodles and starch noodles). Home made broth made with care. Great Value!
Run by a family between Mom and son in law. Let’s support the local restaurant!
