I had a chance to taste Kalyan Hookah in Porsche Event and would like to say that it is THE BEST hookah in DMV area. Both their lounge and events that they host are amazing.

It’s a nice place to hang out with friends.
The lounge is clean and comfortable, with a modern and very cozy interior.
The staff is friendly, attentive (changed the hookah coals on time).
The hookah was smooth and has good choice of flavors.
The space is well-ventilated, so there’s no hookah smoke in the room.
I was there on karaoke night, and it was really fun.
I recommend this place!!!

I had an amazing experience at this lounge bar! The service was top-notch the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the night. The food was delicious and well-presented, with a great mix of flavors. The vibe was just right cozy, stylish, and perfect for relaxing or hanging out with friends. Hookah here is absolutely the best, especially with their amazing variety of flavors! The service was excellent and made the whole experience even better. Don’t forget to try the Red Bull Mojito — it’s a must!

Honestly it was a huge disappointment. The glasses were dirty, and we had to ask them to replace them. We ordered two hookahs, but they brought completely different ones. The service was careless and unprofessional.
We stayed for less than ten minutes, yet we still ended up paying $100 totally unfair for that kind of experience.
Before automatically adding tips, you should focus on providing proper service first. If you don’t have a certain product, just be honest and say so instead of misleading customers.

Kalyan is hands down one of the best hookah lounges in Virginia! The quality of their hookahs is exceptional smooth, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxed, making it a great spot to unwind with friends. If you’re a hookah enthusiast, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

I visited this hookah bar recently, and I’ll start with the positives — the hookah was genuinely great, and the food wasn’t bad either. However, the atmosphere completely missed the mark for me.
The entire playlist was only russian songs, and not just a few — literally every track. It gave off the vibe that maybe a russian oligarch funded the place and handed it to his son to run as a personal project. And that son seems to play only what he likes — mostly russian rap — which made the vibe feel one-dimensional and exclusive.
In a public lounge or bar, I’d expect a more diverse playlist that fits different audiences and cultures. The overall mood just wasn’t welcoming, and it really affected the experience.
Probably my last visit here unless they decide to mix things up a bit and create a more balanced, international vibe.

Nice atmosphere, came here for karaoke night, the best night I have ever had. Very recommended, best hookah that I have tried in VA and generally in DMV area. Highly recommend.

We went out for a girls’ night in Ashburn and randomly found this spot and wow, we hit the jackpot. Hookah was smooth, not harsh at all. The atmosphere was fun without being too loud. Around 10pm the DJ started turning things up, and then the belly dancer came out and absolutely stole the show. Such a unique experience for Ashburn. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something fun and different.
