Absolutely beautiful and the food is flavoursome. The first Indian restaurant I’ve visited since moving here from Lancaster… have to say it has so far been the best restaurant I’ve been to.

We came for a valentines meal. We were greeted by the staff and given a rose as a valentines treat and noticed that even the customers collecting take away were given them as well. Such a lovely touch. The food was packed with flavour and good portion sizes.

Our 1st visit to Kalkata. I must say it was an exceptional dining experience. Restaurant was very comfortable and tastefully designed. The food was absolutely amazing full of flavour lovely and fresh and well presented. The staff were very professional and friendly and well informed about the menu.
Thank you Ali & Naz for making our visit perfect they were both very attentive towards us.

Had a great experience at Kalkata Indian restaurant. The food was absolutely spot on — full of flavour, fresh, and really well presented. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a good meal out.
A big shoutout to our server Naz, who was brilliant from start to finish. Really friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and made sure everything was just right for us. Proper top service.

I had an absolutely amazing meal at the New Kalkata Indian Cuisine! I ordered the Chicken Tikka Biryani and the King Prawn Karahi with naan bread, everything was absolutely delicious, full of authentic indian flavours, the king prawn was perfectly cooked. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully decorated, which makes it very cosy, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed.

Driving from England to North Wales, did a 1 night stop in Newport. Our host recommended this restaurant, quick drive from the bnb, parking just in front of the restaurant, gorgeous place, amazing, classy and decor, a great variety of items on the menu, swift, attentive and really helpful staff, thumbs up to JIYED , ALI and FORHAD. They are ace. The level of service they gave us was top tier. Service was very fast, food was Amazing. I highly recommend this place. I’ll stop by again if ever I pass around this area. Amazing new Indian spot.
