Arrived at night to order a Honey Cake. Moments after I walked inside. Someone made comment, saying ” American” in a good way. Alina & Angelica (apologies if I got their names wrong) helped me with my Honey Cake order. And since I was hungry, I decided to have Chicken Kiev. Let me say, it is the best Chicken Kiev, I have ever tasted . Nice red sauce & potatoes. A week later I went to pick up the cake. Misha gave me good service. Gratitude to Alina, Angelica, Misha, & Sergei. Visit dedicated to my then German American ex girlfriend who looks like Lagertha from a vikings tv show.
After finished with lunch desert and coffee was brought over. So the question is, would I come back for their prepared food? Yes, definitely would. Also liked simple ambience, and most important thing I noticed there were lots of people eating lunch. Which is good sign to join them as food they cook was worth the effort to come there.
Thank you!
Simply want to say: thank you!
When I contacted the restaurant, the manager completely dismissed the situation. Instead of taking responsibility or even apologizing, she claimed that this was “impossible” and said this had never happened before. She demanded official medical proof and suggested that only after an investigation and formal examination could we communicate with their insurance company.
This response was shocking. At the very least, a refund should have been offered. Instead, the manager showed zero empathy and no willingness to properly investigate what happened.
This place clearly lacks basic responsibility, customer care, and food safety standards. I would strongly advise others to think twice before eating here.
The fish soup (uha) was amazing — rich, warm, full of flavor.
Their lightly salted cucumbers were just perfect, and the mushroom cutlet — soft and earthy, beautifully done.
And the sea buckthorn tea with real berries — oh, that was a gem! ✨
Such a lovely place to enjoy something simple and heartfelt.
Thank you for keeping the Slavic spirit alive — with real taste and warmth.
They have a huge selection of Russian and Ukrainian dishes and products, everything tastes homemade and authentic. The atmosphere is cozy, and you can truly feel the love in every detail.
One of my favorite stores — highly recommend! ❤️
