I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Lik’s Jamaican Restaurant, and let me just say—this spot is a hidden gem! From the moment I walked in, I felt the island vibes. The warm welcome from the staff—it all made me feel right at home.
I ordered the jerk chicken and it was bursting with flavor—spicy, smoky, and cooked to perfection. I also had the rice and peas, and cabbage. Each dish was seasoned just right and full of authentic Jamaican flavor.
Portion sizes were generous, and everything was made fresh. You can tell they cook with heart and pride in what they serve. We will be back next time we are in town from VA.

I really enjoyed the food here. Although they don’t have a lunch special, they do have a small size which is a lot of food for lunch. The price for the jerk chicken with rice and peas was $12.99. The customer service was excellent. The owner was very polite as he served me, which is rare for a Jamaican restaurant. I’ll definitely be back.

Not only was chicken flavorless, it obviously was not cleaned. Rice and peas also very bland. My friend had brown stew chicken which was also absent any flavor.

Hello everyone, LIKS is PERMANENTLY CLOSED as of mid December 2025. The new owner has yet to hang their signage and the Liks name remains at the 2470 Sheridan location. I just had an incredible experience at Liks. The food was fantastic, clearly made with a lot of care and skill. Every bite was a treat. What really stood out, though, was the great customer service…the staff was so friendly and attentive. Plus, they don’t skimp on the portions, so you definitely get your money’s worth.

My friend and I had the good luck of stopping in here for lunch and we couldn’t be happier we did!! We both got the small lunch plate with jerk chicken, rice, cabbage, and plantains for only $12.99. The food was delicious (tender flavorful chicken, generous helpings) and the owner was so friendly she made the experience wonderful. Will definitely return the next time we’re in Hollywood!

Food is absolutely phenomenal! My buddy Tim has been raving about this place for a while now and we 3 had an opportunity to go one afternoon. The meals were farily priced and we got a heavy tray filled to the brim! Nice and cozy inside but we took ours to go. We will definitely be back!!
