The smell of the chicken grilling pulled us right to the grill. Then we were greeted by the nicest, most cheerful and funny man who offered us samples of the chicken. Let me tell you, the sample left no doubt that this would be our lunch. It was hands down the best food we had on Oahu. I also got the banana bread, which was, again, delicious. And our daughter thought the homemade spam was fantastic. Take the drive to the North Shore and stop to eat!

The pork and chicken mix plate was overpriced— a small styrofoam container of that was mostly rice drenched in a salty teriyaki sauce. Plus a forgettable pineapple hand pie was $27, wouldn’t go back. Nice guy though

The best BBQ in town! Just follow the smoke and the smell, it Leads you to Kalena! The less impressive the food stand is, the better the food is. And we had an awesome talk with the owner, I really appreciated it! An Teri plate for 13$ is cheap btw!
