We spent one day at Kalatua Beach Club and Restaurant and I have been obsessing over how to get back there ever since. We arrived right when it opened and Teddy (the manager) warmly greeted us. We had reserved beach lounge chairs in the front row (including umbrellas and waters) and the view was absolutely stunning! The crystal clear turquoise water and white powdery sand truly made you feel like you were in paradise. And that feeling never stopped! We ordered drinks and appetizers (all absolutely delicious and beautifully presented) to the beach chairs. Jean and Noah (our servers) attended to every request. Later, we went to the restaurant and sat with Luna. We were a party of 5 celebrating a 50th birthday and she truly made it so special for us. She was super knowledgeable about the menu, including the wines. We even tried a new one we enjoyed so much we got 2 bottles! Like the appetizers, the food was simply incredible and, again, looked like a work of art! I truly appreciated the fact that our beach chars were held while we went up to eat at a table. Everyone is so accommodating and gracious! Even just now, I had a follow up question and was messaging them and they immediately responded. This place is a GEM and what all beach clubs should aspire to be! I cannot rave enough!

A slice of St. Barth on Sint Marteen! Lovely set up with more typical restaurant seating, a bar, tables in the sand, and of course, the sun loungers. All set in front of the stunning waters at Mullet Bay. These are the clear turquoise blue shores you picture when you think of the Caribbean! The executive chef previously worked on St. Barth and the vibe here really echos my time there. Midday Friday in mid November was a relaxed and very chic vibe. Very friendly and accommodating service. Felt very well taken care of here by my server, Jean. My frozen drink, the Rosalie, was perfect. The ceviche was beautiful and fresh. I regret not coming sooner on my trip to spend the whole day here! Regardless, perfect stop before heading to the airport 5 mins away.
Don’t hesitate to stop by for one last drink, bite, and dip in the water before rinsing off (there are showers) and stopping by the cute boutique for some last minute shopping before heading home

Great spot! My salad was delicious! We were lucky to snag some seats at the bar. It was a Saturday and everything was already reserved. The servers were a little slow, but it was a busy weekend. All in all a beautiful place, the gift shop had some really cute items!

An exceptional dining experience from start to finish.
Kalatua is run by an incredible couple who, from the moment you arrive, make you feel chez vous, truly at home and wonderfully spoiled.
We began with a divine fresh mahi-mahi starter: perfectly balanced, stimulating, and clearly très bien pensé. Every element on the plate felt intentional and harmonious.
The wagyu beef was cooked to absolute perfection! lightly crisp on the outside, exquisitely tender inside, so soft….. It was beautifully accompanied by gnocchi in a black truffle sauce… simply incroyable.
Top-notch cocktails, impeccable five-star service, and then the setting: what a view, what a vibe, what a location. Un moment fabuleux from beginning to end.
Merci beaucoup, Chef. Thank you, Aluna. I will most certainly be back very soon.

Location, location and location. One of the most important thing about business. This place has it. The beach, the view. Most importantly the Coco Bongo drink. Hand down my favorite drink on SXM. The atmosphere is perfect. We got to see a fashion show during our refreshments.
The service is this place is got to get better. It’s my third time here. Same results from this staff. They don’t ask you much. But man is this place nice.
Try the Coco Bongo and enjoy your view.

We recently held our first annual Paws for a Cause gala fundraiser at Kalatua Beach Restaurant and we could not be happier with this choice! Working with Emma, Rachel and Gil was an absolute pleasure. The staff at the event/dinner were wonderful, the food was incredible and the ambience in the evening was beyond our expectations. We are very much looking forward to the second annual gala at Kalatua next November.

I really enjoyed my day at Kalatua. The food & drinks were great and so was the service. The water is at the beach is a little rough so you have to go down a little further and not directly in front of the beach club. I’m not a huge fan of the beach chairs basically being on the ground but it wasn’t the end of the world. I felt as if everything was reasonably priced. It was a day well spent.

A beautiful day at the beach club. Sipping rum punch & pina coladas on the pricy lounge chairs. Had a nice lunch at the restaurant as the clothing boutique displayed their chic clothing on a beautiful model that walked out with several different outfits. Fun time at a beautiful beach with waves.

High end beach club on beautiful mullet bay beach. Gourmet food, deep wine list and awesome curated cocktails. Comfortable loungers and a staff that makes it heaven on earth! They had a fashion show Sunday and a very nice boutique. Plan to make a day of it.

I read some bad reviews about the service so was skeptical to come but I’m glad I tried it anyway. I guess it’s a hit or miss with service because I got VERY good service. The hostess patiently explained to me I could choose from
$70 seats (front row) to $50 (third/last row). The seats were for full day but since I came from another beach, I only had 2 hours left so didn’t want to pay for seating. The hostess was so kind and showed me a seat where I could sit for free. This place was so relaxing and beautiful. Would come again for the full day to rent a front row seat next time.
