Very disappointed with Kalako tonight. They posted the $.5 wings for Super Bowl. Awesome, I order at 340pm and my auto pick up was 630. 3hrs is a lot but okay they are busy. Get there at 630 only to be told they won’t have my wings and it could be another hour or longer. Huh? I order 3hrs prior and you don’t have my wings ready? Manager tells me oh I was going to call you? When? I understand being busy and being a little behind, but you can’t post a great deal like that on Super Bowl Sunday and not be prepared for an influx of orders.
Very good pizza, crust is one of my favorite in the area. Toppings were great. Only thing keeping it from a 5* is personally the sauce wasn’t my favorite (doesn’t mean it’s not good). More tomato/sweater than I prefer.

Got the large 14″ double crust (chicago style) supreme minus mushrooms and with extra cheese and onions. Let me tell ya….. this pie is one hefty heavy pie. First piece that I pulled out, the cheese pull was literally like that pizza from the Goofy movie. By far one of the best pizzas I have ever had!

This pizza is AMAZING. The pan if you are up for a hearty slice of pizza that will fill you up, the deep dish is amazing as well. And if you want to go back to sitting in your Grandparents family room having a real treat in the 80’s go for the hand tossed. The crust is perfectly seasoned and a perfect mix of dough and crisp. The customer service is also exceptional. Always friendly, always on time and they check your pizza for quality and to make sure you are happy before you walk out. I cannot say enough how happy we are they moved into town. We will be loyal customers.

The reviews don’t lie. This pizza is a 69 out of 10. After discussing the different crusts with them, I decided on the original. The thin and original are cooked on a stone, so you get that added profile. From a brief interaction I could tell the employees take pride in their craft. Fresh ingredients, dough made daily, sausage with fennel, not balls and not crumbles; legit sausage. We got a 14 inch with sausage,pepperoni, and onions. Everything about it was perfect. If I was local, I could eat this every day.

We ordered three thin crust pizzas from kalako for the first time and loved them. The crusts were well-done and the sauce was very flavorful. The toppings tasted fresh. This might very well become our favorite pizza place.

My wife and I ordered the XL pizza with the original crust and it was absolutely wonderful. Growing up in Chicago, I’m pretty picky about my pizza. Let me tell you, the crust had a great brick oven crunch that was out of this world, the sauce had wonderful flavor without being too over-powering, and the cheese was absolutely perfect. My wife and I also ordered their small side of cheese bread sticks and that was excellent as well. We love this place and will be coming back again. Hopefully Kalako’s can continue to grow and become a local staple!

What an absolute treat of a pizza joint! Well worth the wait! I used to go to Chicago Style Pizza when it was open and this is a beautiful spiritual successor, that imo actually has a thin crust pizza that surpasses the original! Great job guys and hope you have many years of success, I know I’ll be back!

I can’t even get to describe how amazing the pizza and meatballs are at Kalako. Truly the best pizza outside of Chicago. The staff are 110% customer focused and make things right. Love this local favorite!
