Actually came in here because the other restaurant I was planning to go had a long wait. This restaurant didn’t look busy at prime dinner time so I was a little reluctant but I only had 1 hour to eat before my next stop. Service was quick and food came out fast. Soft soon tofu soup included everything just like BCD but more variety of banchan. They were very generous with refilling the side dishes too. As I was eating, I noticed they had nonstop takeout orders getting picked up. I got the bulgogi/soon tofu combo. The bulgogi was good and tasted authentic but I think the only miss was the soon tofu soup lacked a bit of umami flavor.

The food was good we had tofu soup. The side dishes were also good. However, there was absolutely zero service. We had to ask for water and our check. Also they do not refill your side dishes. If you want that, go to the other location on Culver. That location offers much much better service.

We’ve been back a couple times since the change of chef/ownership! The food is sooooo good and we love it! Highly recommend the dolsot bibimbap, tofu soup and the mackerel.

Ordered in for pickup at a little before 9pm. Google says they’re open until 10, Yelp says 9, they say 9:30.
Other than that, I used to go to this location A LOT. Haven’t been in a while, so I thought I’d order something. I always got the Kimchi Pork Soft Tofu and the pork was bits of pork belly. Name didn’t change to my knowledge. Got home and saw that I got bits of ham instead. Ham is pork, sure, but I feel like they should have changed the name or description or something. I also feel like majority of people wouldn’t expect ham when they order pork. Only got three sides, which is even less than in person (which has been getting less and less too). Korean Tofu is SO expensive now, plus the expected tips. I’d like to get what I ordered at the very least.
Personally, I won’t be going here ever again. It’s unfortunate since it’s basically part of my childhood.

Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at here, and it was one of the most satisfying meals I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm ambiance and attentive service.

The menu offered a great variety of dishes, but I decided to try Soft tofu soup and Korean bone in Galbi and pan-fried fish, which turned out to be absolutely delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The portion size was generous, making it a great value for the price.

Overall, Kaju Soft exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, great service, I highly recommend checking it out. I will definitely be returning soon!

My family loves this place and it’s consistently very good. Their banchan is always tasty and the combo of soup & beef a good value. I think some people who say the service is bad just haven’t been to enough authentic Asian restaurants ‍♀️

Tofu soup is tasty and yum. Better than my favorite korean restaurant.
Ribs is good too.
Fish cake side dish is dry and bit hard. Kimchi is good, not sour ( i do not like sour kimchi ).

Keep in mind you can NOT take left over side dish. So finish it! .
You get 6% off if pay cash.

Service slow. Take a while to get what refill on hot tea, hot water on rice.

Half way my dinner, i order to go and still not ready by the time i am done with my dinner, even pay my bill. Still waiting more than 20 min.

First of all, the service was good. The water and the sides were filled promptly. The robot server was a fun addition. The tofu soup was one of the best I’ve had. The sides were excellent too, filled with the right amount of seasoning and spices. Definitely my go to place for Korean tofu soup.

Rude server; horrible experience. I rarely write reviews, but I felt I needed to share this experience. The hot stone pot was served without water, and no water was provided until I had nearly finished my meal. As a result, the rice at the bottom was completely burnt. When I asked whether it was even safe to eat something that burnt, the server responded that it was “normal” and insisted there was no issue, even becoming irritated when I mentioned that the water had been brought far too late. The server’s attitude was extremely rude, implying that the restaurant was busy enough that they didn’t need to care about customers like me.

It was disappointing to pay for a meal and leave feeling this way. Even though K‑food is becoming more popular, the service and overall dining environment here seem far behind what customers should reasonably expect.
