We stopped in for a late dinner last night and were greeted by a lively atmospher it’s clearly a popular spot, so expect a line around 8 pm, but it moves steadily.
The food is absolutely the star here.
We ordered their famous soft seafood tofu soup and their abundant Kalbi short ribs, both of which were fantastic and lived up to their reputation.
We also got to try two soups with different spice levels, which was perfect for our group.
The service was very fast and responsive; every time we needed something, a staff member was there promptly.
While the waitstaff seemed to be native Korean speakers and were a bit hard to communicate with at times, their efficiency and attentiveness more than made up for it.
Overall, this is a great, authentic choice for a satisfying family or group dinner. We’ll be back for the Kalbi and tofu soup! Just be prepared for a crowd during peak hours.

Maybe it was because we came in after a long drive and everyone was hungry, but the tofu bowls really hit the spot and the bibimbap bowls (yes, in metal bowls) were pipin’ hot! And abundant! All 8 of us were satisfied.

Everything was delicious and served hot. The kimchi soft tofu soup was rich and comforting, and the spicy pork bulgogi was flavorful. The banchan (side dishes) are a highlight, especially the seasoned cucumber and fish cake. The place gets busy in the evening, but the wait is usually around 10 minutes and totally worth it.

CHECK YOUR BANK STATEMENTS! And ask for a final receipt after they charge you on the handheld device, because they apprently tip themselves without your consent.
My husband and I have been coming here for years — and as the rest of the 1-star reviews (here and Yelp) regarding customer service at this location, they treat you with annoyance, make you feel like asking for water is a burden and there really isn’t any customer service at all, even when it’s not super packed. The Korean female staff in particular could care less about how customers are treated.
The cherry on top? Our bill came out to $41.84 and I graciously manually tipped $5 due to how we felt customer service was on Thursday night. Only to find they had added their own additional tip and I was charged a total $58.81 instead of $46.84. Dishonest, fraudulent and not ok. Do better, Kaju.
2/4/26 UPDATE/PS: Nice try with the PC Google response Kaju Tofu management. I called the restaurant on Monday (2/2/26), spoke to a female regarding this issue and she said that a manager would be calling me back and even gave me additional attitude about how she is only a worker and that she only works there. Don’t ask for me to email you anything — as it’s been 48 hours and no one has returned my call.

It was my first time coming here. I was Greeted by everyone and then auntie assisted me to sit down. I was Greeted by one of the waiters and he recommended i get the ham and cheese tofu soup and the special with bulgogi since I had a hard time choosing what I wanted. Their fried coconut shrimp was so crunchy and delicious. I was so excited to have all the ban chans so many dishes and flavors. They even gave me a big bowl of rice in stone pot very traditional. I enjoyed the service and atmosphere. Everyone here is very polite and kind they make sure to take care of you. They have a few selections will come back here soon. If your are in the area go show your support you won’t be dissapointed

We love dining at Kaju, especially for their delicious banchan and flavorful soups. Our go-to order is the set meal, which includes tofu soup and galbi ribs, along with an extra large soup—usually galbi soup, beef soup, or seafood soup, all of which we highly recommend. The banchan are refillable, and the service is always quick. We usually arrive before the rush, so we never have to wait for a table.

What’s not to love about kaju. My go to for Korean comfort food. I’m no expert but I know taste when I experience it and this place delivers a wonderful feel of a Korean grandmas home cooking… at least that’s what I imagine when I eat here… thank me later 🙂

This Korean restaurant is located right next to H Mart, a spot I’ve passed by many times but never actually tried—until now. Despite picking a non-peak time, my friend and I still had to wait around 10 mins.
Here’s what we ordered:
– **Grilled Mackerel** – $22.99
– **Mushroom Tofu Soup** – $16.99
– **Tofu Protein Combo** (Spicy Pork + Kimchi Soup) – $23.99
For a group of four, our total came to $64 before tip, $80 including the tip. I’d say this was pretty reasonable.
The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. We definitely will be back!

The food at Kaju is always delicious. I appreciate the levels of spiciness they provide. As someone who generally avoids eating spicy, I’m glad there’s an option for that. The service is also good with generally friendly staffers. The restaurant is clean but please be aware of the spacing of the restaurant. Generally avoid large parties as it is not spacious.
