The food was exceptional, this is definitely fine dining sushi, but it had some of the biggest cuts and the most flavor. This is for a special occasion, date night, romantic night.

The atmosphere is impressive, the place looked grand and luxurious.
The food was delicious. We were happy with every plate, all very fresh and tasty. Especially the rice, it looks like brown rice, but it’s actually seasoned rice – surprisingly good.
It is on the pricier side though, so be prepared.

The best sushi in a non taste menu setting I have ever had in Houston. Even the type of fish I normally don’t care for tasted delicious. Lunch menu is definitely a very good deal. Highly recommend.

Came with a reservation and staff quickly seated me along with kindly explained the menu and how to order. The place was clean and was well lit. There was all different types of sushi that you could order from on the tablet such as bluefin tuna, salmon roe, eel, prawn, uni, etc. Along with rolls that you can get. The quality of the fish tasted fresh but at the same time tasted off. The uni I tasted wasn’t that great quality. A lot of the sushi tasted a little off and wasn’t that great.
I also order dessert cause I saw they had a good selection from ice cream, sorbet, and mousse. I ordered the yuzu (8/10) and brown sugar sorbet (7/10) that tasted really good and flavorful though the brown sugar can get really sweet. Along with the yuzu mousse (8.5/10) that was super creamy, had shaved jam yuzu on top, and was the perfect sweet and tart.
Overall, it was okay, I had better sushi at a lower price.

We came right after the tuna cutting anniversary event. We ordered some anniversary salmon and a set of anniversary tuna (akami, Chu-toro, Oo-toro). They were all so delicious! Amazingly good quality tuna and salmon, and yellowtail. We also liked the anniversary roll, the shiso leaf was a great addition.

My top three were: the premium fatty tuna, Club Roll & Caviar, and the Toro Takuan Roll. The pricing is higher than other sushi areas in Houston, but I think it’s well worth the price. Came here for the first time tonight after hearing about kaiten and all I have to say is their sushi is fresh and is good. My favorites were the firefly squid tempura, ika, and uni. I was able to try both kinds of their sea urchin and they were both AMAZING. Also their unagi was fatty and juicy. The pieces they give you were pretty big too. Overall, we had a great experience, the services were top tier. We’ll def be back.
