This was our first time to order from here & we got it “to-go.” The salmon pieces in my daughters’ philly rolls were TINY, and a few pieces were missing the salmon and avocado. Also, the salmon was very light pink, not good quality salmon for the price. I’m irritated that we paid $58 for our food. Not worth it at all. I tried to call about the issue but the gentleman who answered the phone didn’t understand what I was saying.

I really want to like this place but like one other review mentioned, the portion is really small for the price. I ordered take out and the price for that eel roll is $11.95 and it’s so small with tiny bits of eel. I also ordered two salmon roll, each is $6.95, also super small. I had similar types of sushi in many places in Houston and this place surprised me how small the portion is for the price you pay for standard sushi and not a fancy restaurant. The taste is decent but 1 star for the value.

I have had sushi from various places, and this place has become my new favorite. I come here a lot. The gentleman at the counter is always so courteous, and doesn’t mind the small talk. I’m not fond of a restaurant where you order food then wait in awkward silence. I would recommend this place to 10 times out of 10.

The absence of a mask while making the sushi made me a bit uneasy. Sure, the governor says it’s ok, but we know we’re not out of it yet. It’s also a mind thing and will be for a while, and I think they should still wear masks until we’re at ease in our return to pre-pandemic habits.

Love this place! The prices are good & the food is just better. I enjoy it every single time I go there. The owner even started to recognize us knowing what we will order. I would recommend this place to any of my friends for sure.
