I’m reviewing to express my deep disappointment with the experience I had today with your restaurant — an experience that was entirely unacceptable, especially for a business that relies on quality food and customer satisfaction to thrive.

I had been craving Pupusas all week and specifically chose your establishment because I’ve had good experiences in the past. I expected consistency, care, and attention to quality. Unfortunately, what I received was far from that.

After placing my order and heading home — excited to finally enjoy my meal — I was met with burnt, poorly assembled Pupusas that were stuck together, falling apart, and leaking all of their filling. Not only was the presentation entirely unappetizing, but the food was simply not in a condition that should have ever been sent out to a paying customer. This is not a minor oversight; this is a failure in quality control and pride in service.

What made this worse was how the situation was handled when I called to inform you. Instead of listening, acknowledging the issue, and offering a simple, sincere apology, I was met with defensiveness and denial. I wasn’t calling to argue — I wasn’t even asking for a refund. I was giving you feedback so that you could be aware and hopefully improve. But instead of ownership, I was met with an argument and, shortly after, a series of calls that frankly felt more harassing than helpful.

Let me be clear: good food is not just about taste. It’s about presentation, consistency, and care. When you serve something that leaves your kitchen, it is a direct reflection of your business. There is no excuse to send out burnt, messy food — none. Arguing with a customer about what they clearly see in front of them only makes it worse. If your goal is to earn loyalty and return business, this is not the way to do it.

I’m not writing this to bash your restaurant, but to hold you accountable. You have served me well before, which is why this experience is so frustrating. Every customer deserves respect, and every meal should reflect a standard of excellence. What happened today should not have happened, and it certainly should not be the standard you’re willing to defend.

Do better.

The food is not fresh. Food is very overpriced. They will try to overcharge you. The business owner is an absolute joke. You’re not going to overcharge me. You should have pictures of your food. You should always wash your hands before grabbing food from back of house especially when they were outside washing the windows. But maybe that’s just my opinion. I’m glad you guys don’t get any business and you have to throw all your food away. No customer is going to come back to a place that makes them not only feel unwelcome and disgusted. Every customer should be treated with the same respect. You guys like to treat your customers like you’re playing them like a fiddle for their money. Every single item should have a price on the menu. You can’t leave items on their than proceed to make up prices. If this was the case you have to state somewhere. Yes prices change but you’re not going to ever be able to sell me on the fact that 1 pound of talapia was 21.99. That’s a joke. You’re literally trying to charge me 10x the value of something. Like honestly the slop you guys serve and try charging 35$ for. That should me a 22$ plate. But I understand that coronas and modelos don’t pay for themselves. Hopefully you can one day pay for those chrome rims for the el Camino. Respectfully from someone who’s worked in restaurants my whole life. Your presentation from you chef is literal garbage. That’s so sad.

They don’t know How to speak English I Went in to get something to eat and try to give them my business and because I did not speak Their language she did not try to help me so I left. I will not recommend no one to that restaurant ever in my life and I will try to scare people away from that restaurant because they should know how to speak English because all nationality goes in to eat.
