Kairos Cafe is such a welcoming spot for breakfast. The food was fresh and served with real care. The staff’s hands-on service made us feel valued from the moment we walked in. Overall, a truly pleasant experience I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking to start their morning off right.

This little spot turned out to be awesome! I went with a small group of 4 and we wanted some breakfast/ brunch. If you’re looking for a cute spot, you should check it out! There is a Mexican twist to it. Great for small or large groups. They make food fresh so be patient cause it worth it! We ordered a burrito, chilaquiles plate, huevos a la Mexicana breakfast plate, huevos con chorizo breakfast plate, 2 Mazapan lattes, and 2 chocolate abuelitas. Everything was good! I actually ordered the tres leches latte but I didn’t like the taste of it and let the server know. They were so nice about it and made the mazapan latte per request instead. Service was great! If I’m in town, I’d definitely be back to this quaint spot. Go check it out! Till then, let’s eat!

I have been here on 2 occasions. First was around 11am on a Friday when they are very busy and on a Tuesday at 9am when there are not many people.

On my first visit, it was bustling with many people in the restaurant. I ordered the Dame Forte combo which came with French toast, scrambled eggs and some bacon the first time I went. They had ran out of bacon, which they informed me of and substitute it with sausages. The French toast was delicious and the scrambled eggs and sausages were cooked well. As I was enjoying my meal, another customer who had ordered something similar to me asked if my French toast was warm. I said that it was. He retorted that his was cold.

Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I wanted to see how the place was during a not so busy time frame which is why I went a second time.
The second time I went, I was the only customer with a few employees in the back. I decided on the Barbacoa chilaquiles and a Ferraro Rocher frappe. Both came out within 20 minutes. The chilaquiles were delicious and filling with the red salsa they added on the chips being hot enough to wake you up, but not too hot that it becomes unbearable. The frappe was great as well with bits of Ferraro Rocher chocolate blended in.

After being here 2 times, I can conclude that the food here is great with the service and atmosphere being good. As with any restaurant, the lunch hours between 11am-1pm are the busiest especially on the weekends. I see the potential in this place to succeed and make a name for itself along with other restaurants similar in style on Atlanta Hwy.

For a small, out of the way place for breakfast or lunch, this is one stop you don’t want to miss. Great coffee selections and wonderful menu items. The breakfast burrito was awesome, great flavor and it’s served with nice, spicy green salsa Verde
Lots to choose from, so come hungry and you’ll not be disappointed!

This place was absolutely amazing! Tucked away, but such a great find! The place was clean, and staff was so friendly. There is a wait, but it is so worth it for how fresh and tasteful the food is! I love the bagel breakfast and would 1000% would recommend it to others! Trust me this place is fantastic and worth spending money on! Support small businesses like this!

My find of the weekend is in my own town of Gainesville with @kairoscafega !!

The flavors…. the menu…. the team running this place…. it all gets a 10 out of 10 in my book! The only downside is that it is located in a tight spot so parking may be tough and the wait is sometimes pretty long because unless you get there early before the rush, you’ll find yourself in a long wait time. I did notice a lot of foot traffic coming in and out with TO GO orders so you do have that option!!

You’ll find the mom in the back making amazing food and the son running the shop up front with all the orders and serving their guests, they are great and make you feel very welcomed.

Pictured here:

BARBACOA CROISSANT – I don’t say this lightly… this is probably the best tasting croissant I’ve had to date. The barbacoa was seasoned to perfection and the croissant didn’t fall apart

CHILAQUILES WITH CARNITAS – Chilaquiles is a Mexican breakfast dish that has tortilla chips as its base along with rice, beans and whatever protein you choose. In this case, carnitas!! And let me tell ya, these carnitas were so tender and perfectly cooked. This was definitely a favorite along with their salsa verde because their tortillas were excellent

BREAKFAST SANDWICH – Just know this isn’t your typical breakfast sandwich. Sunny side up eggs, ham, avocado, cheese, refried beans with a perfect baguette like bread… toasted and very hearty

WAFFLES & POTATOES – I had to order a waffle and potatoes to see if they were solid… Yes, the answer is YES

CHOCOLATE ABUELITA (HOT CHOCOLATE) & COLD CHAI TEA – Both get a thumbs up but if I had to order again, I’d order both again

My daughter and I tried this place for the first time today. It was amazing!! I got the chicken fajita omelette and she got the chilaquiles with grilled chicken. They were both so delicious! The rice and beans were some of the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back!
