Great BBQ. Work takes me through here a couple of times a month and this is my goto stop on the way back to Phoenix. Work will pay for something fancier, but why bother when food is so tasty.

We love this place! Food is always yummy, portions are big, and service is great. Last time we went, we arrived on a Friday evening with about 35 family members. We were surprised how quickly our food came out and everyone’s order was correct. They did an awesome job! Everyone loved their food.

I’ve been going here for years, and overall, I keep coming back for the good food! However, Kainoa’s is not without its flaws.
For example, service is always a bit spotty. Hit or miss with the friendliness of the staff, honestly.
Sometimes the wait times are very long, and sometimes they’re quick and fresh! Just go at the right time when it’s not busy, or call ahead.
The food is ALWAYS delicious, with an occasional mistake — we’re all human. Prices are a bit too high, but for a local joint, it’s not egregious.
Definitely love the food overall.

Too many flies, our desk was sticky, and the soda machine was malfunctioning. I didn’t like the food much, even though this is probably because of picky eater taste. Nonetheless, the employees are really polite.

Pretty good Hawaiian food in a small town like Safford. I ordered the ono bowl and totally recommend it! Perfect amount of dressing and spice, with chicken katsu and rice. Budget friendly too!

Food is good but aside from smoothies and 1 or 2 menu options nothing vegetarian. Also it’s definitely pricey $6 for smoothies. Not bad by any means but something to keep in mind.

It’s been a while since we came through Thatcher, and so when we finally had an opportunity we made sure to stop here. Was wondering if our memories were legit, and we were not disappointed. Excellent food, friendly staff. Upbeat atmoshere and music.

I’d give them a 5 star for their food if they had decent rice. Their rice is always overly soggy to the point you can’t even tell it’s rice most of the time. And it always take way too long waiting outside for the food to be ready to be picked up. Most of their food is premade so I don’t understand the long delays.
