Ahi Nachos are excellent chefs kiss (ate them so fast I forgot a photo ), great treat while enjoying the cozy pub ambiance. Bartender was friendly and quick to take orders. Sat at the bar and watched the game. Cool place and will definitely be back nice and dark pub. they also have TouchTunes when the game isn’t playing.

I have such a love-hate relationship with the KTBG that leans heavily towards love. Food and custom cocktails are delicious. The prices are excellent, especially for Kailua. Service is usually on point with excellent bartenders. My only concern is the interior leaves much to be desired. While I enjoy the vibes, I think the place could use a serious deep clean. I tried to take my parents there once and the only way to describe the smell would be “ripe”.

Food was the worst I’ve tasted in a while. 2 fish & chips. Tasteless & wet. Tried to put Tabasco & tartar sauce & it didn’t work! Both orders were trash! Drinks were nasty & I never wanna waste alcohol, but we did. The server was too busy so I didn’t get a chance to return them or get our money back from being just wasted., not like we were being checked on anyways! Very disappointing!!!

Their Beef Dip sandwiches are the best I have ever eaten. The beef is cooked to perfection and the au jus sauce is rich and tasty.

Really fun pub, antique or vintage feel with a beautiful wooden bar. Delicious food, incredibly accommodating and friendly staff, and drinks! All add up to a real fun experience. Burgers are cooked to order, poke nachos are a must, the chips are like won ton chips, you can not go wrong here! Probably the best food we have experienced and a incredibly cool atmosphere!

This place is more of a bar/pub than a restaurant, but they do offer some better quality menu items then most places where the focus is on the alcohol. This place has been around for awhile and signs of it are obvious, but it is kept clean and maintained.

We rolled in here not knowing what to expect and it happened to be trivia night. The food was actually pretty good I loved my pizza and the hot wings were pretty good my Caesar salad was very fresh. It’s not a place to order wine so you probably want to get mixed drinks or have beer. Personally I like wine with pizza. The only thing that I could mention is that the bartenders could probably be a little bit more happy other than that I would come back for sure.

The food here is always good and consistent. Dive bar atmosphere, but if that’s not your thing, I promise you will soon forget once you start eating. Nice bar area and people there are always friendly. Good time all around

The shepherd’s pie is awesome here. Came in Sunday and they were out of stock. 🙁 Ordered the Au Jus. Pretty good. The waitresses here have historically been terrible – they must pay them terribly here. The one today tended the bar and did dining as well. She didn’t write down the order and probably the reason she forgot the iced tea but all in all, we were happy. The pub reupholstered the benches and changed the cleaning agent so it doesn’t smell too bad but i think the ownership might want to consider revamping the style of the place to keep up with more modern environments and consider the digital payment methods where the sever brings the credit card tender machine to the table (like Uahi grill does). It doesn’t feel like an English pub … seems like an outdated bar trying to stay afloat.
