Walked in for the vibes and honestly the restaurant understood the assignment there. Great interiors and good service made us feel like the food was about to be amazing. The food, however, had other plans.
The vada pav seemed to be going through a rough phase in life. The chaats showed up confidently and delivered. The Chinese bhel was just existing without strong opinions. The pav bhaji stepped in like the responsible elder sibling and saved the family reputation.
Overall, come for the ambience, trust the service, and choose your food wisely.

Kailash Parbat is an absolute hidden gem! The menu is completely vegetarian, and what really sets them apart is how thoughtfully they cater to vegan and Jain options, including a dedicated Jain menu—which is such a big plus and not easy to find.

The food is fantastic across the board. We ordered sweet corn soup, Hakka noodles, vegetable Manchurian, chole bhatura, and the corn basket, and every single dish was delicious and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh, well-balanced, and perfectly prepared.

I honestly don’t understand how this place isn’t as widely recognized as some of the other Indian restaurants in the area because it truly deserves the spotlight. On top of the great food, the ambience is absolutely awesome—modern, comfortable, and welcoming, making it a great place for both casual dining and special outings.

If you’re looking for high-quality vegetarian Indian food with excellent vegan and Jain options, Kailash Parbat is a must-try!

Kailash Parbat, Dallas truly delivers an authentic Indian street food experience with a premium dining feel. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is warm, vibrant, and beautifully designed it feels lively yet comfortable, making it perfect for both family dinners and catching up with friends.

The food was exceptional. The Punjabi Malai Soya Chaap was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted fresh and authentic, with that nostalgic street-food soul but elevated in quality and presentation. The naan was soft, the gravies were flavorful, and even the chaat items had the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and spicy.

You can really tell they take pride in both taste and presentation. The hospitality was welcoming, and the overall experience felt thoughtful and well curated.

If you’re looking for iconic vegetarian Indian food in Dallas, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

We visited twice in last 2 months. The ambiance is awesome. You feel you are in Mumbai. North Indian dishes and street chat options are plenty and good. We tried all Swaminarayan menu both times. Paneer bhurjee was not at all tasty. Dahi puri was good but puri is made extra hard to hold stuff for longer time which is okay. We ordered pavbhaji which was looking awesome but was very salty. Cannot expect this in Kailash Parbat. We did informed and they provided option to replace with new dish. Customer service good. But food taste can be improved a lot and should match high standards as appearance of the venue.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5)

This Indian restaurant is truly one of Dallas’s hidden culinary gems. From the first bite to the last, the food delivers authentic flavors, excellent balance, and bold spices ️ that are surprisingly hard to find—even in a city like Dallas ️.

The **Chole Bhatura** ⭐ deserves special recognition. The chole is deeply spiced, slow-cooked to perfection, and beautifully balanced—rich without being heavy—while the bhatura is light, airy, and fried to a golden finish ✨. It’s easily one of the **best Chole Bhatura plates in the DFW area** .

The **Pani Puri** is another standout . Crisp puris, perfectly tangy pani, and well-seasoned fillings come together with impressive freshness and consistency. Every bite hits the right notes of spice, acidity, and crunch—classic street food elevated with precision and care ❤️.

Service is warm and attentive , making the overall dining experience feel welcoming and unhurried. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu , happy to guide you through options, and clearly passionate about the food they serve.

What truly sets this place apart is its potential . With its authentic flavors, consistency, and thoughtful execution, this restaurant has the foundation to one day earn **Michelin-level recognition** ⭐—especially with continued refinement in presentation and storytelling.

If you’re visiting Dallas ✈️ or call it home , this restaurant is a **must-visit**. Whether you’re craving nostalgic Indian street food or exploring standout regional flavors done right, this hidden gem deserves a spot on your list .

A solid 4/5 today—with the promise of something even greater ahead .

What a fantastic way to start our first meal outside in the New Year!

We went off to Kailash Parbat on Coit Road, Frisco Tx , partly on a whim , but mostly on nostalgia! My father had taken me to the original place in Colaba in Bombay (now Mumbai), well over a quarter century ago! And I still can recollect the taste and flavors!

We were seated quickly and Nicky took our order quickly and brought out our dishes just as we had ordered them!

We started off with a plate of Vada Pav and a plate of Pani Puri, shared between me and the better half!

One bite of each took us back to the streets of Bombay wherein we savored these flavors as children in the streets of Mumbai and at Kailash Parbat. The spiciness of the gun powder served with the Vada Pav, the rich sweetness of the Meetha Chutney which came with the Pani Puri and the crisp cooling, spicy and tangy Hara Pani made me actually go back in time!

In our next round, we ordered the Pav Bhaji and the Ser Puri plate. They too were very good, but what sold us were the Vada Pav and Pani Puri and their chutneys and sauces!!

To cool off we had a tin of Thums Up each and sat there reminiscing the days when we enjoyed all these in a land far away from here!

Thank you Rakesh and his team managing this branch of Kailash Parbat for retaining and allowing us to savor many of the true and authentic flavors from Bombay, here in Texas!

And yes your wall deco added to the experience as I recollect holding my dad’s hand as a child entering the Bombay original branch (shown in the photo on your wall) many many many moons ago!

We will be back soon to try out your lunch and dinner dishes, but. Today your chaat items made our day!!!

We had an amazing experience with Nester bhai , at Kailash Parbat He was quick, friendly, and gave honest food recommendations.

We were a group of 10 friends just looking for a quick Indian-style snack… but we ended up having a full feast. A total blast of authentic Indian street food!

My parents also loved the dishes — and they rarely find true Indian flavors outside India.

Must try: Vada Pav — absolutely fantastic!

Highly recommended!

Hands down the best Indian food in town!! We’ve tried chole bhature which was really good but the samosa (wouldn’t recommend them) had better chole than the chole as a dish. We’ve tried Vada Pao which was surprisingly the most fulfilling dish we’ve had and was definitely worth every penny (wished they paired it w a chutney it would just be cherry on top). We also got soya chap (which was divine), schezwan Hakka noodles (extremely spicy but really good), mango lassi (amazing!!) and butter milk. And the staff was really friendly and nice, we’ve had a really good time.
Will definitely be coming back!

A vibrant Indian restaurant and a great place for chaat – Dabeli was the showstopper! It’s a must have. The presentation is really nice and overall taste profile is flavorful – neither spicy nor mild – just perfect. Did not try any main course for Indian dishes but the service is extremely quick for chaat, other dishes do take some time since they prepare it fresh!

I recently visited Kailash Parbat in Frisco and loved the authentic flavors and vibrant atmosphere. The Gobi Manchurian was perfectly crisp, the soup was comforting, and the chaats were bursting with tangy, spicy goodness. The Vada Pav and Pav Bhaji tasted just like Mumbai street food, making it a must-visit spot for Indian food lovers.
