Fantastic sushi in Coeur d’Alene. Great service and great staff! We will definitely be back. We sat at the sushi bar and the young lady that took care of us was very personable and really took pride in the art form of sushi!

Great service, 10/10 sushi, bill was around $110 for 5 rolls, an appetizer, side of rice, and a bowl of noodles and beef with 2 cokes.
Very clean inside and quiet, even with music playing.

My boyfriend and I came in around 8pm on Valentine’s Day. Immediately something felt off, we stood at the front awkwardly while employees looked at us but we weren’t greeted. After about 5 minutes of waiting at the front, we were seated. We were sat by the bar and the server did not even introduce herself. We ordered our appetizers (the squid salad and crab rangoons) and they were okay, the rangoons were mostly cream cheese but the squid salad was decent. Throughout the night the atmosphere was awful, people sat around us had gotten their food orders mixed up, making them wait over an hour to get their proper meal. Our server almost gave our appetizers to the wrong table too!! After waiting over an hour after our appetizers, we still hadn’t gotten our food. My boyfriend and I were starving. But once our food came, it was mediocre. I wanted to order other rolls but we had already waited so long, there was no way we would get the food in time before they closed. Food is so important to me and throughout the whole service we felt neglected. In fact I had started to cry because I was still so hungry after waiting an hour and our server went up to us and asked if everything was okay. This server/bartender seriously needs to get reevaluated. I worked at a restaurant and I have never seen an employee ask a CUSTOMER to hand us our ticket. Totally unprofessional, she had all the tables mixed up and did not even apologize for the wait or keep us updated on our food. This place has seriously gone down hill and has so much potential!!

Went here for my birthday. Thank god we went on a very quiet time (my husband and I had the whole place to ourselves). The place is usually really busy rightfully so. It’s a cute little place with AMAZING art work and customer service. The sushi is always great, I love their ice cream rolls with real fruit in it and candied ginger on top. I’ve been going here for yeeears and it never disappoints.

Our first time here and we were very happy. The tuna poke was very good and original in its presentation. The avocado and the sauce really meshed well.
The California roll was very fresh and had a great crab taste.
The chef graciously prepared a veggie and shrimp tempura appetizer for us that was very good.
They have an extensive drink menu, but we didn’t try any of that. Might next time.

Well I dont really know what the food tastes like. I bet its good but I wouldnt know. My mom and I came to eat. They told us we can pick a place to sit and they’ll bring us the menus. The menus never came. The water never came. No one came. We waited for almost 15 minutes. My mom got up and asked for menus. They gave it to us. We looked at the menu. Still nothing. No waters. No service. So we got up and walked out. As we were leaving one of the servers had the audacity to say “thank you” I heard good things about the food here but I guess we’ll never try it because it seems like we arent good enough for the servers.

This Godzilla themed sushi joint is one of a kind with uniquely curated rolls. They are interactive, joyful and embody the spirit of service with quality. I have tried much of their menu and have never left without a smile. The octopus appetizer is a delicious interpretation of a hush puppy and my fav roll is the phosphera.

Food took over 30 minutes to be served while the restaurant wasn’t crowded. One of the dishes had fish that didn’t taste fresh.
The beef in the beef bow was good but the rice was not the usual quality you find at Japanese restaurants.
The waitress was very nice and attentive though.

We enjoyed this location. Our server was nice and friendly. The food was delicious. The California rolls had real crab meat. It is a little pricier because it is better ingredients. It is what we expected from a sushi place. They recently updated their menu. Still great food now with more options.

What a pleasant surprise for sushi on Sherman! Given this is North Idaho, sushi options are limited and not all that great. Kaiju did a great job even if a White chick was making the rolls. The service Ajay provided was top-notch as well. The only negative (for me) was that the fish atop the rolls should have been cold, not room temperature, almost warm, and the rolls should be rolled tighter. Regardless, I’m looking forward to my next visit and many more.
