Order from from here on Saturday that I really just wanted to try something different, I give the food a 4/5 because they don’t use salt on the rice and regardless if you add sauce on it you can taste how bland it is but everything else had a really good flavor, the fries were top notch! I do recommend to get the pig over the chicken is really flavorful, the chicken was really crispy but since it was dry and the rice was also dry I didn’t enjoy it as much! The service was excellent they were really nice and had good vibe the whole time! Also affordable, also I had forgotten to take pictures before and this are from when I was already eating them

The environment, the people and service, and the food were all excellent! It had an excellent vibe, and the service was amazing. There’s just something nicer about someone remembering your name when you come into a restaurant. The food is a totally different taste. Highly recommend the volcano fries. I have no clue what is in it, but it makes your tongue just keep coming back for more. Highly recommend. Dine-in or take out. You won’t regret it!

My new fave restaurant in Avon! Hawaiian seasoned chicken, steak, shrimp and more. We had volcano fries with steak and chicken on rice. Great flavors and friendly staff. And for about $10/ person. Highly recommended!!!! (Poke too but we didn’t get that)

Overall good food, but definitely has the potential to improve. We got the Maui Chicken bowl and the Volcano fries. Everything tasted really good, it all just needed a little more flavor! The Maui chicken tasted great and was cooked well, but just needed more of its sauce. The fries also needed more sauce because once you got past the top layer there was nothing left except for plain fries. The rice could also be improved as it got really mushy in the middle.
Overall though it was good and pretty fairly priced. We walked in and ordered, and didn’t have to wait long until our food was ready. We enjoyed sitting outside in front of the restaurant.

Two words. Delicious food. The katsu chicken is the perfect dish, a regular favorite so good, its hard to try anything else. Made with a fresh salad and sushi rice, this is a go-to for friends when they are visiting in town and want a great bite to eat. The staff is friendly and the manager is solid, too. Service is quick and the poke or chicken is a go-to. I highly recommend calling ahead but I think you can order online, too. Perfect for dinner or a quick healthy lunch.

I got the Volcano Chicken bowl which the very nice girl at the front told me was a best seller. It’s a nice piece of fried breaded chicken with a tasty dressing, served with rice. The food arrived quickly and was very good.

This place was awesome! The volcano chicken and volcano fries were one one the tastiest meals we have had in a long time! Highly recommend. We will certainly be back again while we are in town. We had a little bit of a hard time finding it based on google maps, but we called the restaurant and they were able to easily explain it.

Katsu was nicely (and freshly) cooked, the katsu sauce was superb and very flavorful. Musubi was delicious. However the I prefer the spam to rice ratio to have a LITTLE thicker spam. Still very good. Husband got the plated with steak and pork. The steak was excellent and the pork was well seasoned and paired very well with the rice. Small soda options BUT they have Jarritos soda so bonus points for that. The cashier/cook was a little … quiet(?) didn’t greet when we walked in or ask if we needed help, no big deal but might be off putting for others.

Wow! Had a delicious fresh dinner tonight and are already planning to grab some takeout to go with our leftovers for tomorrow. Generous portions and ready by fast. The owner is awesome and welcoming. Stop in- you won’t be sorry. PS- Spam Musubi makes a perfect pocket meal to take on the hill!

We were served spoiled tuna, it was absolutely inedible. I’ve uploaded a picture of the old, pale brown tuna I was served. Even though I only ate 2 pieces, I felt sick for hours. Just plain disgusting and a complete waste of $30. Had to buy a second lunch somewhere else.
