I HATE to give this review because I have literally been coming here with family since I was 3 years old. It was always a tradition to go to Kahula for family celebrations and always had a great time.

What Kahula lacks in curb appeal, it makes up for it in service and food. Angela was our waitress and she was friendly, tentative and well excellent! My husband and I have been to many Chinese restaurants with Wind Tiki being our go to place. But since it no longer stands we have looked for another to take its place. Not only did we find another! But better! Amazing yummy food!!!!!!

Had my son’s first birthday here. We had called ahead so they were expecting us. The food was so delicious and cooked to perfection. We ordered pupu platters along with house fried rice and it came remarkably quick! They were spot on. The only thing that would have been a little easier is if there was someone other than just the bartender that could have served us and taken our order. They had one person doing everything, which he did a really good job considering!!

The only thing I found bizarre was we had ordered a large amount of food. After the food arrived about 20 minutes in the waitress asked . “Did I bring you a order of spring rolls”? After she saw that she did , she picked them up and redilvered them to the person in the lounge that ordered them. I wondered After I got home if any of my food was misdelivered retrieved and brought to me. Other than that the service was good. The fried rice was very sticky and bland. The rest of the food was great.

We stopped on a whim. We’ve driven by many times. I wasn’t expecting much. The foyer was very colorful with a fountain. The dining atmosphere was meh… but it’s the food and service that really counts.

Never mind the bartender look like she was a junkie using as her friends came in and she disappeared with them for a while unbelievable The place look likes ie haven’t been clean in over months and I mean months as a person who’s been in the restaurant industry for decades I don’t think I will ever go back there again absolutely disgusting never mind she tried giving me someone else’s bill that was way more than mine and tried telling me my bill was more than theirs to just pay for it I don’t know who owns this place or who was running it anymore but you have gone down into the dumpsters dude

Recently moving to Connecticut I was trying to find a place that was close enough to food from Boston where we are originally from decided to try Kahula for the first time it was a great experience we did take out it was done fast food stayed warm when I arrived I decided to add two scorpion bowls to go best decision ever the guy comes from the back so funny and hands a young lady at the front the bag and says here’s a good stuff he wasn’t lying it was amazing…. Highly recommended them we will def be returning !!!
