Reviews
Kaffeology has been absolutely amazing every time we’ve visited. This review is written over a period of several visits, and the experience has been consistently excellent — from the food, to the atmosphere, to the service.
The food is beyond delicious and clearly made with care. Everything we’ve ordered has been fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Some of our favorites include the Chimichurri Steak & Eggs, which was perfectly cooked marinated skirt steak with flavorful chimichurri, golden breakfast potatoes, and sunny eggs cooked just right. The Brunch Smash Burger is next level — two smash patties with gruyere, tomato jam, sriracha aioli, bacon, sunny egg, and arugula… rich, savory, and absolutely addictive.
We also loved the sweeter options — the Fluffy Lemon Pancakes were light, fresh, and packed with flavor, especially with the blueberry cinnamon compote, fresh berries, whipped cream, powdered sugar, sweet cream butter, and real maple syrup. The Crème Brûlée French Toast was honestly one of the best things on the table — the cinnamon toast crunch coating, custard center, torched sugar crust, fresh berries, and whipped cream made it taste like a dessert masterpiece. The Breakfast Burrito was also incredible — loaded with crispy golden potatoes, pico de gallo, scrambled egg, gruyere cheese, avocado, and chipotle aioli with cilantro crema dipping sauce. And the Spicy Kale Caesar was the perfect balance — tuscan kale, shaved parmesan, spicy garlic confit Caesar dressing, and herbed croutons.
But what truly makes Kaffeology special is the service. The waitresses are extremely professional, attentive, and knowledgeable, and they always make the experience feel welcoming and enjoyable. Kelsey has waited on us several times, and she truly stands out — she’s a beautiful girl who lights up the café with every smile. Ari and Claire are also beautiful and amazing servers, always greeting us with constant smiles every time they come to the table.
Kaffeology is a total gem — amazing food, outstanding staff, and an experience that keeps us coming back. Highly recommend!
The food is simple yet inventive. Excellent for brunch lunch or dinner.
Service is friendly and accommodating.
The atmosphere is small, cramped and uncomfortable. Its trendy and modern so they think sitting on a stump with a pillow is a good experience.
Its very “womanly” in here. Insecure or most straight men would probably never think to go in here. But overall the food and coffee is great.
Oil must have been used for a long or too many times, chicken tasted like burnt oil and was hard.
We ate since we were so hungry, but my son didn’t even finish, he ordered fried potatoes for side but he ate literally 2 pieces.
Two stars for friendly server and drinks.
Atmosphere: There was a huge display taking up space that should be used for seating customers. The people ordering food/drinks to-go were standing between people who were seated trying to eat. This needs to be organized. In a place this small, customers shouldn’t be able to make reservations ahead of time. First come, first served, especially when it is as busy as it was at lunch.
One note to owners. Garden City is very child friendly so I was shocked that “family” restroom did not have a changing table. This would be a welcoming addition and honestly should be addressed right away to attract the many families that would enjoy this new restaurant
