Nice spot! The gyro and falafel wrap were amazing and the service was phenomenal!! We went on a very slow evening so we were able to enjoy the mural, wall decor, and selection of books.
Unfortunately, the fries were soggy, the potatoes were greasy, and the Baklava Cheesecake was dry, dense, and stale. We wanted to like the food more, but the wraps make up for it.

Customer service friendly. I think the owner was there as well. He engaged in a conversation with us pretty cool guy! The cashiers were extremely nice, honest and accommodating!
Parking is paid if no free parking available.
This is definitely one the freshest breakfast I’ve had.
7/10 cinnamon roll yum. As most place need more icing which they say its a generous amount. Just not generous enough for me. However its a decent purchase. Make sure you get it warm yum!
10/10 Athena added chicken sausage which isn’t my go to. It was recommended by the cashier and I agree its darn good! Flaky fluffy biscuit best biscuit outside of my own lol! Eggs and veggies fresh and it was extremely moist. Feta spread is too good 10/10! Like I swear I cooked it. The cook was cooking with love!
10/10 bacon omg I love bacon and the best bacon I’ve had out! I need to know their brand of pig lol!
6/10 French toast was mediocre, kind of dry lacked flavor but definitely pretty. Like it was magazine perfect!

The down side was the espresso machine was out. I came to enjoy either a chai or latte as well and we weren’t able to do so because of that. Also, not alot off coffee specialty offers. This wouldn’t stop me from coming back because I absolutely loved and enjoyed the flavorful food.
Unfortunately alot of these breakfast spots don’t open until people have to be at work cause otherwise I would definitely stop by on my way in. Thats why I’ve passed by it and not stopped because I have to be at work at 8am. I will check out for lunch or dinner soon! The food is definitely top tier fresh!

Good food and quick service. Very good prices and I went there a few times. Parking is free first 2 hours. Historic first Waffle House is across the street. One weird thing I noticed is that every time go there – I want to sleep after. Not sure what it is, but it makes me super sleepy. I will still be coming back.

Great food and service. Meals are freshly made, not prepared. Seasoning was excellent and the portions were generous but not outlandish! You order/pay at a counter and then find a seat and the food is brought to you. Great draft happy hour deals too! I will be telling my friends!

I’ve been wanting to try this place and I finally did this weekend. The gyro was so delicious and plump. I got the platter and was so very pleased. For dessert the orange phillo cake was SO good. I loved the vibe and will def be back to have breakfast!!

Great customer service, very friendly cashier. I was disappointed in the food, considering Kafenio is best Greek food in a Decatur publication. Its like Greek fast food. Another star i took off bc Kafenio still uses Styrofoam to-go boxes. We know now more than ever how terrible Styrofoam is to the environment. I won’t be visiting again for to-go food.

Great Greek food that we’re lucky to have walking distance from home. I’d go up to six stars if there was a tabouleh option but the owner would probably yell at me that it’s not “Greek” or something. Whatevs Addictive dolmadas and gyro make up for that. Falafel, souvlaki, and kofta too. The smattering of hard to understand negative reviews for this place just prove the point that some people will never be satisfied. Ignore them!

Good for a quick bite of Greek food. We ordered 2 salads: Greek salad with chicken, Village salad with gyro meat. We also ordered a gyro platter with rice & side salad, & a chicken platter with potatoes & side salads. All the salads were fresh & delicious with light dressings. The potatoes were a favorite. The chicken was average. The gyro meat was good, thick cuts. The Tzatziki sauce was very good, just need more of it. Love the Arden’s Garden juices. Located in Avondale Estates area.
