One of my favourite sushi spots on the island, it’s always a pleasure to pass through Ladysmith and stop here. The food is authentic, delicious, and reasonably priced.

We took out yesterday from Kaede Sushi. We live in the area and this was our first time ordering. The order was ready when we arrived. We arrived home about 5 minute drive. It was piping hot, beautifully rolled. These days all we seem to get with takeout sushi is fall apart rolls. Not here. We will definitely be trying more off the menu. Enjoy

We have been here about a year ago and our visit was nice. Today we decided to drive back to Ladysmith and try Kadeem again.
We went with a simple California roll to split and then the Kamikaze roll and Rainbow roll. First off that is the best Rainbow Roll we have had in a very long time. The Kamikaze roll was great and I like that they mixed the hot sauce into the tuna for the topping instead of just squirting hot sauce on as many do as an easy way. They did it the right way!
The food was terrific and we know why we came here the first time. The seafood tasted fresh and had that perfect melt in your mouth sensation you expect of a quality sushi establishment.
The dining room is very modest and isn’t too flashy but we came for the food. We will be back again.

This place needs an update in all ways but it is a decent lunch spot.
I think a little revival would give them an edge to have more customers, it was empty when we went in.
Fish was high quality, despite thinner cuts for sashimi. Rolls were decent.

Delicious sushi! We had the veggie roll combo and loved the mango in the veggie roll! The agedashi tofu, gyoza and California roll were also very tasty. Our server was friendly and welcoming. Overall, a perfect (and easy to get to off the highway) dinner stop!

Very cute restaurant! Nice date spot with friendly service. The agedashi tofu was tasty. The sushi was good, but the scallop cone wasn’t as fresh as I hoped. The rice was a little too dense, maybe? Regardless, one of the better spots we’ve been around here! We’ve ordered twice now, one take out, one dine in, and will be back 🙂
