They have so many vegan options and they’re each delicious, with plenty to take home and enjoy later. I would recommend looking at their online menu since that has a specific vegan section for easier ordering than the paper menu. Definitely looking forward to coming back

This was the first good, authentic Thai restaurant I discovered after moving to the metro Detroit area and it remains probably the best I’ve found so far.

The food is always tastes authentic and fresh and the items are reasonably priced as well. The service is always friendly and helpful and I love their bright and vibrant Thai decor too.

Bonus is that they make their Thai Iced Tea just the way I like it – with a healthy balance of cream and tea

This has become a favorite spot-We eat here almost weekly now. Delicious and high quality Thai food!
We usually get Drunken Noodles and the Pad Ana (both pictured). I’ve had their curries as well and they’re great. Highly recommend!

This is the best restaurant I have ever been to. I stumbled into here today with my friend and we LOVED it. You must try the Wonton Soup!!! It is phenomenal! The fried chicken as an appetizer was perfectly cooked. I don’t know how they made it so flavorful and flaky. The Thai fried rice with chicken and the shrimp pad Thai was also fantastic. The service was lovely as well – could not have been better. The portions are huge and it’s VERY reasonably priced. I really can’t wait to come back here with more friends and my family when they visit. Absolutely worth checking out even if you don’t live in the Royal Oak area. I’m blown away and so happy to know that I have leftovers from this amazing meal. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Kacha Thai Market in Royal Oak is a fantastic spot for vegan Thai food! Their Thai Basil Fried Rice was flavorful and well-spiced, and the Green Curry (Kaeng Kiew Wan) was incredibly creamy and delicious—one of the best I’ve had. The menu has plenty of great options, and everything tasted fresh and authentic.

Parking is available street-side (paid) or in the nearby parking structure, where the first two hours are free. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving amazing vegan-friendly Thai cuisine!

Kacha Thai Market is authentic down to the decor and food. The server is really nice and made some recommendations between Lao papaya salad and Thai papaya salad. I loved the Lao papaya salad but be forewarned if you are sensitive to smell and taste of things fishy. I love it but not everyone will enjoy it.

I see it was a new place and was hesitant to try but I’m so glad I did. We order the Tom yum soup which we loved. I would suggest to owners to put in the menu what the up charge would be if we wanted to add shrimp. I knew there would be one but just so it’s not a surprise to other guests. Correct me if I’m wrong but I didn’t see what it would be for a small bowl.

We also ordered the Thai Basil fried rice with chicken. I personally order this to see if the restaurant in general would be good or not. Silly, I know but fried rice is not as easy to make with the great taste of the hot wok in the rice. I’m a fried rice snob but I have to say their fried rice was absolutely delicious.

My husband has been looking for some crispy pork belly. We went to a Chinese restaurant and was not up to par. It came soaked in sauce which made the pork belly soggy. We loved this pork belly though. It has a nice crispy crunch to every bite.

If I lived closer, this would be my go to Thai restaurant. I would definitely recommend this to any Thai food lovers. Anyone new to thai food, try to order mild or no spice if you can’t handle the heat. I am one of those and mild was the perfect balance for me.
