Kecey’s is a casual place ,is not fancy and neither is the food, but everything is fresh, tasty, and comforting.
We’ve been here a few times and always enjoy it. The service is friendly, and even though it gets very busy at dinner time, the staff handles it well.
This time we tried the shrimp escargot, and it was very good. The Greek salad came with potato salad, which was a first for me, Even though it’s a seafood place, the hamburger is surprisingly good.
We tried other dishes before as coconut shrimp and the fish and chips and we were satisfied with those as well.
Kids meals are good too!
They have daily specials and a lunch menu as well as happy hour, it is definitely a good option if looking for something flavorful while in the area.

Excellent golden – brown shrimp basket. Ribs were a generous size. Crab cakes were spot on. Excellent service. Our server got slammed, so another server took our drink order. You may substitute the sides and if you don’t like something (hush puppies) 86 it.

So I like all levels of restaurants. This one sounded good, and it was. We arrived to a couple open tables, so no wait. The Captain’s platter looked perfect, though the specials looked good also. There were 2 couples. The ladles shared an inexpensive but recommended Chardonnay they both liked, while both guys had the amber draft.
Food came rather quickly, Captain’s plates first, then the Kacey platter and potato crusted grouper special. 4 happy campers. My wife and I hadn’t had good fried clams like these since Howard Johnson’s decades ago. Oh, prices are more than reasonable. We plan to return with other friends in a few days.

Love it here. We have Tess as our waitress every time. The food is so good and the service from walking in the door until we leave is amazing.

I was headed to Roadhouse and saw Kacey’s so whipped it around and went in. I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp and a side salad. The salad was perfect, lettuce green and fresh and a variety not just iceburg. The shrimp were on the smaller side which is exactly what I like and no tails. They could have been fried a little longer but the menu did say, “lightly fried”. I don’t care for the large ones as I feel like they are spongy. My husband says I am a food bigot but I like what I like, right? My waitress was young and so nice. Wish I could remember her name! She is going to college to be a medical malpractice lawyer so we had a good conversation about that since I am in the medical field. Overall, a great experience!

Thanksgiving at a seafood restaurant??? YES PLEASE! As someone who has hosted Thanksgiving dinner at my home for decades, I was skeptical about having dinner at a restaurant, especially one that’s primarily known for seafood. After enjoying dinner yesterday at Kacey’s, I may never cook another Thanksgiving meal! A traditional dinner was offered (regular menu items were also available, with the exception of fried foods), which was turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green beans, and cranberry sauce. The presentation was beautiful, with a generous portion of both white and dark meat atop a mound of stuffing. The turkey was moist and flavorful. The gravy was definitely made from pan drippings – if you cook, you know the difference in flavor. The cranberry sauce tasted like my own – right down to the hint of orange zest. It was obvious that a great deal of care was taken to make this meal as much like a home cooked meal as is possible in a restaurant. There was nothing on the plate that disappointed, and no one in our party of six (a couple of whom are pretty picky) had anything negative to say about the meal. I’ve always loved the food at Kacey’s, but this was above and beyond what I expected. The service also deserves a mention, as we were welcomed and made to feel like they were truly happy to have us there. We’re still talking about the meal, and I’m looking forward to enjoying my leftovers for lunch today.

We ate outside since the temp was perfect. Great spot for seafood at a reasonable price. Shrimp 3 ways appetizer was fresh & tasty. Mahi Reuben was good & the Island Mahi was cooked perfectly. We stopped on our way to the airport. Service was fast & friendly and one of the owners stopped by to chat about Deals Gap.

Service beyond exceptional, environment quiet, food quality consistent. My fiancé & I come once a week the staff treats you like family. I’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu not one item to complain about. Perfect amount of seasoning & always fresh. When coming I look forward to the delicious daily special options.
