Came by today and just found out they’ve closed and the space is up for rent again. This was my favorite spot near campus, with amazing food, friendly staff, and fair prices. Wishing the owner all the best for the future!

I had a wonderful experience at this Afghani restaurant! The Kabuli Pulau was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked rice with tender meat and the sweetness of raisins and carrots balanced so well. The Zereshk Polo with Chicken was another highlight, with the tangy barberries giving a unique and authentic flavor that made the dish unforgettable.

Amazing food with amazing service! I got the beef kabobs which were an absolutely delicious. When I went it seemed to be a one man kitchen (maybe the owner?) and the food still came out in just under 15 minutes. Will definitely return!

I love the food here and being from out of town staying in the hotel during a snow storm it was close enough the food was still hot when I got back. Great portion sizes and the flavors are amazing. Highly recommended!

This is the second time I’ve gotten takeout from this establishment. The first time was through a food delivery app and the food was decent but a few things were forgotten from my order. This time, I decided to go call in and order and pick it up myself. Unfortunately, the order was again not correct AND there was hair in the rice. Extremely disappointed and a little grossed out.

Hot and fresh afgani food with a somewhat nice view of downtown Syracuse. Qabuli pulao could use a bit more favor. Eggplant and firni were delicious. The naans are made in house with a tandoor clay oven . Looked like one man was running the whole show which was quite odd.

Found out go-to restaurant in syracuse. If you want to eat authentic afghani food, this is a must try. This is the best afghani food i have ever had! We tried the qabuli pulao and Chaplee kebab entres (both extremely famous dishes of Afghanistan) and they were both delicious! The owner and staff were very friendly. The place was spacious and the environment clean. Will definitely be going again soon!

As someone who has eaten home cook afghan food, this was the worst experience in all history. The food was really disappointing, food was just warm, despite the claims from them that its made fresh. In all honesty if you want afghan food you will have a better experience going to a mosque
