We had an incredible experience and wow the food is insanely good! It’s hard to find a restaurant that nails everything from appetizers to entrees and even the condiments (make sure you try these sauces!) the service was great and the people here are so kind. The location in Westbury is a take out spot but they have nice tables to eat at. Keep in mind they have paper plates but really who cares when you have amazing kabab! They have another location in Flushing I look forward to trying that’s more of a sit down spot. This is a definite go to in Long Island!

My favorite place for Sunday night dinners! Food is so good and the staff is outstanding. I usually get the combo#2 . They give the food in to go containers which is very convenient! Lamb beef and chicken tikka with brown rice!

This has become my go-to restaurant almost every week! The food is absolutely amazing — flavorful, tender, and perfectly seasoned every single time. The portions are generous, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic and delicious Afghan food!

We’ve loved Kabul Kabab House Flushing for 15+ years and finally tried the Westbury location for takeout—amazing! Omar greeted me warmly, remembered my order, and the food was excellent: flavorful kababs, tender meat, perfectly cooked rice, pita bread, salad, roasted tomatoes and onions, and white sauce (plus a free extra tub on request). He even gave me a 15% discount card for next time! Omar was so welcoming, and this location is closer to my home, so I’ll definitely be coming back. Great service and quality—highly recommend!

Excellent food. The lamb was grilled to perfection. Their white sauce and hot sauce complimented the lamb well.

Finally a restaurant that you can trust to have consistently fresh and delicious food. Kabul kabab never lets me down!
Dined in today while they were super busy for Iftar and still had such a great experience, fast service, fresh food.
Highly recommend to everyone. It’s my favorite Afghan food by far

I had high expectations based on the prices, but this was a major letdown. The service was disorganized and inattentive, and the food was served on paper plates, which felt cheap and careless. For what we paid, I expected proper presentation and professional service. There are far better options for the same price—or less.

I’m never coming back again. Over priced food and served in paper plate. Service is delayed too. Restaurant looks great, but their serving in the box was not pleasant .

The food was excellent and well prepared. Large portions. Friendly staff too. The desserts were great. Loved that guest randomly got up and started dancing.

This was an unusual dining experience… When we entered, we saw signs that said there is no table service and you must order at the counter. So we did, and we took a seat at one of the open tables. Then one of the servers started going back and forth to the back of the restaurant to bring out paper plates and plastic utensils. Then he started bringing out take out containers of salads and appetizers. We got one of the eggplant appetizers and it was just okay but it really lacked in eggplant flavor, it was mostly tomato and onion like in my opinion. The naan they provide tasted stale and also took away from the eggplant dip. The entrees came out next in a MASSIVE take out tray with a serving spoon. The bone in chicken was actually very good. It was juicy and seasoned very well, highlight of the meal. The lamb tikka on the other hand, was dry beyond belief. It was also really tough, it felt like biting into a brick. The portions were generous and the price was reasonable.
