Passing through town and wanted to try this restaurant. I had looked at the menu and decided to try Mantou, Bolani Gandana, Jalebi and some Naan. All was yummy but my absolute favorite was the Mantou. Dumplings with seasoned beef and chickpeas. Best thing I’ve tried in a long time. The Bolani Gandana was a tad spicier than I expected but still good. The Jalebi was just a small delicate treat of swirled battered, fried and topped with rose sugar syrup. The naan was hardy thick bread also good. If you’re in the area definitely try it. Especially the Mantou. They also have small grocery area with pantry items, spices, candy, dried fruit and nuts, etc.

Delicious and fresh. I recommend every dish with lamb, either stew or kebab. Their Chutney is refreshing. Love their rice.

Delicious lamb kabobs, leek pancakes, and rice. Good seasoning. Very clean restaurant and grocery market. Can’t wait to come back every or every other week. Solid for the dining out rotation. Can you do outdoor dining in the winter?

I love their food. Generous servings and reasonable prices. One of maybe 2 restaurants that remind me of home cooked food. I did not know that Afghani food is so similar to desi food.
Place is divided between a store and a restaurant. Its basic dining but its always clean.

Incredible food. Absolutely love the Kabuli Pulaw. Some of the best Afghan Food I have had. Very good portions as well. And best part is they serve only Halal! The staff are always very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is combined with a grocery store so not really the most fine dining type experience but the food is outstanding

This place serves incredible Afghan cuisine, which is rare to find in the U.S. I highly recommend trying the Kabul lamb—it’s incredibly flavorful and delicious. The meat is tender and perfectly cooked, the rice is exceptional, and the combination of fried carrots and raisins adds an amazing depth of flavor. If you’ve never had Afghan food before, this is the perfect place to start! Plus, the owner is very friendly. Highly recommended!

This restaurant is a gem. The food is out of this world and the portions enormous. We had the Mantou and the lamb stew dish. Both were delicious. The location is fairly hidden. Although it’s address is 1800 East Ft Lowell, access is off Campbell into a parking area parallel to Ft Lowell. Within the restaurant is a shop with all kinds of terrific Afghan food goodies.

The food was delicious and served in generous portions. The staff was friendly and attentive. Each dish came with a salad and your choice of naan or rice. While the dishes were slightly on the pricey side, the seating area was quite casual, located next to a small grocery aisle.

The food was phenomenal. The store had an attractive selection of spices, candies, and misc food stuffs. The waiter/cashier, however tacked on 24.5% to the bill seripitously. That’s not cricket! Double check your receipt before paying.

Oh my god. Kabul corner is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever went to. We decided to get the Chaplin kabob & the pulao, and the meat on the pulao was so tasty that the meat quite literally melted in my mouth. The chapli kabob was also fantastic with the green chutney. They also give complementary naan & salad, which is also a plus. If you’re ever traveling or craving some very great afghani cuisine, make a stop here.
