Came with pretty high expectations considering the good reviews but the food is pretty bland. The fried pork gyoza were good but the shrimps were microscopic which contributed to a very doughy texture and the sauce had no flavor. The red curry also deeply lacked flavor. The service was okay but you get more out of your money and better flavor at other smaller places such as Sticky rice thai, A1 Thai, Haru Thai, Rama V Thai, Joy noodle, Haos noodle, Moon Thai, even Sushi Jo despite it being a chain.

Had a great dinner at Kabuki in Wellington this past weekend. The atmosphere is modern and relaxed, perfect for enjoying sushi or a nice meal out. The staff was welcoming and attentive from start to finish, and the service was fast without feeling rushed.
The sushi was fresh and beautifully presented, and everything we tried tasted great. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. The menu has a nice variety, so there’s something for everyone whether you are craving sushi, noodles, or cooked dishes.
Definitely a place we’ll come back to when we’re in the area.

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday and was pleasantly surprised.. The sushi was delicious and very fresh. Everyone’s dish was very good and the service was excellent. They may have other locations but it doesn’t seem like a chain restaurant. More like a mom and pop atmosphere and food is match.

We stopped by Kabuki Sushi Thai and Tapas for happy hour and had a great experience. The highlight of the meal was the Pineapple Fried Rice — a stunning dish served in a half pineapple shell, filled with shrimp, chicken, pineapple, onions, tomatoes, raisins, cashews, and curry powder. The presentation was absolutely beautiful, and the flavor was just as impressive — rich, balanced, and unique.
We also enjoyed the steamed pork dumplings and a fresh salmon roll. We had ordered miso soup as well, which was accidentally left off our table — we realized after leaving, went back, and they kindly packed it to-go for us. Service was friendly and welcoming, just a touch slower than expected.
Overall, great food and nice atmosphere. We’d love to come back and try more of the menu!

2 words- Happy Hour. What amazing prices. So many HUGE delicious options. Happy hour prices are practically free. I was really impressed everything was so tasty. Don’t miss this destination! I would have happily paid full price, but lucky me didn’t have to!

Absolutely stunning menu with so many options to choose from. I went with my friends, and we all got various rolls to try. Service was very quick and attentive to our needs. Portion size was big, which I enjoyed, but it average for the price. We didn’t even have to wait for a table even though it looked like a full house. I’m definitely adding this to my list of places to visit again. 5/5, no question.

This is a very unprofessional establishment. This isn’t my first upsetting experience. But I’ll share what just happened. I called in an order at 1:52pm. It was set to be ready 30 minutes later. At 2:20 I paid for the food. I sat and waited till 2:50 with no clue at what was happening. Apparently an inspector came and I was unable to get my food. Yet other people were receiving food. I’m not sure what exactly happened. But an hour later I was asked if I wanted my money back. No ma’am. I wanted my lunch. It was very upsetting. I will not come here again. I don’t care if the food is good. It was a very disrespectful experience and it should not happen during lunch hours.
