We lived in SoCal for 15 years so imagine our surprise when we stumbled into delightful quality sushi at Kabuki. It’s hard to find a consistently good sushi spot in the Midwest; Kabuki is it for us.

absolutely disgusting and gone down hill.
i ordered a ubereats for right up manchester and the food came disgusting. everything completely inedible except the crab rangoon. missing ingredients from the manchester roll that had NO meat just shreds of imitation crab meat NEVER are they saying king crab and shrimp are in it. there was none! it was non existent and fried to hell. then the wonton spicy shrimp was fried and burnt and disgusting nothing as the description said. and the disgusting soggy overly tempura batter on the banana was horrendous and the teaspoon of incorrect ice cream was laughable. i used to go when they opened many years ago and this was by far of the worst sushi meal i’ve ever had in my life and i eat sushi at least 3-4 times a month all over missouri. will never return to them.

I love this place, I come at least twice a week. The service is always great, everyone is kind, and the food NEVER disappoints. I highly recommend them for authentic food. 10/10 ! Even if you carry out the food is still well prepared.

Went for lunch. It was not crowded. Ordered a tofu bento box and soup. The tofu was too bland. No salt nothing. It was deep fried. We wanted to order more. Tried getting attention of the waitress multiple times and no response. My kid was literally screaming “Excuse me” multiple times, but still there was no response so we left with half lunch here and took my kids for a lunch to other place. I don’t recommend.

Super delicious all you can eat sushi!! Wow!
Plus you get a salad and a appetizer, I chose crab Rangoon- they have a unique flavor and due to their small size they are nice and crunchy!

The rolls on the all you can eat menu are obviously not all the fancy ones but there are lots of great options and it’s only about $15 for lunch when it’s all said and done!

There was a decent amount of other people dining as well but the server was attentive. And for a sushi place I feel like our food came out pretty fast! 🙂

Food was absolutely digusting.
Beef smelt very old. General taso was the worst I’ve ever had in my life. The teriyaki chicken was extremely dry. It was inedible.
Had it through doordash

*update* randomly had it on a Saturday and the ginger stir fry was incredibly good!
The miso soup was fresh and refreshing!

Saturday evening visit. We had no wait for a seat, service was very fast and friendly.

I had the All you can eat Sushi ($20 Jan/2020). The All you can eat menu is some what limited, compared to the Ala-cart Sushi menu. None the less I got my fill and was quite pleased with the selection. I had 5 sushi rolls in total and an order of Shumai to start. For the Sushi I had the Super Duper Roll, Salmon Skin Roll, Spider Roll, Crazy Ball Roll and the Futo Maki Roll. They were all very good, The Spider Roll probably being my favorite.

My companion had the Chicken Pad Thai, which is also very good, and a very large portion, enough so to have a filling breakfast the next day.

We have visited Kabuki on numerous occasions, and will definitely return again.

Update: 01/01/2023. Ordered takeout, had a few minutes wait for our order, but they packed full of people. Food was great as usual.

Some awesome sushi here. Firenado and Snow Mountain are my favorites, but Shrimp Lovers is good, too. Chicken Katsu is great. Yellow curry is good but just a little thin – just a little! So far everything we’ve had from here has been very good.

Food is watered down and bland. Many of the meats are reused from dish to dish. Ambiance is great but the food just didn’t stack up. Prices are reasonable but food isn’t worth it. Comparable to Panda Express. But the service is good. What it lacks in it’s entrees it makes up for with it’s all you can eat sushi. Great value and sushi is great. Just be sure not to waste any or you will be charged.

A friend of mine recommended this place as one of the best Thai curries in the St. louis area. I was skeptical, but I tried the green curry w/ chicken while my friend tried the red curry w/ shrimp. This place did not disappoint both Thai curries were amazing. The servings were large and the wait staff friendly. This is now my go-to spot for Thai curry. I can’t wait to try them all and the sushi looked awesome too.
