If you haven’t tried Kabukis Oxford you have missed one of the best gems in town. Food is awesome, service is excellent, and we’ve never been disappointed. Been going since my grandson was at Ole Miss. Still drive back down from Memphis area because never found anyone to compare to the food and folks. There is one in Southaven ,MS now but not the same
owners and doesn’t compare to Oxford!

Stopped in for dinner with some friends and really enjoyed it. The chef was friendly and entertaining without being over the top, and everything was cooked perfectly. I ordered the steak and shrimp combo — both were flavorful and tender. The fried rice was delicious and had that perfect hibachi flavor.The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Even though it was busy, we were seated pretty quickly, and the whole experience felt smooth and enjoyable. Prices are fair for the amount of food you get. Overall, a nice spot for good food and a fun, relaxed night out.

I spend atleast $30 every time I go. I usually come alone and the servers are always friendly and attentive for me. Also the spring rolls are perfect! Do wish they were a little bigger though. I travel a lot for work so I try a lot of different sushi’s places and a lot of them are hit or miss. I think it’s because I compare the standard of quality and quantity to this place. Any time I’m in Oxford, I HAVE TO stop here. This is my absolute favorite sushi place I’ve been to. I have been here about six times before I made this review. Splendid service every time! Thank you. My absolute favorite place!! The food is absolutely amazing and the staff is always super friendly. My 2 year old loves going because they are always so kind to her. Sushi is my favorite food of all time! Their ginger salad is just simply delicious, and the miso soup is so comforting! We go here for literally every occasion! For amazing food, a wonderful atmosphere, and great prices, this is your place to go! You won’t be disappointed!

Firecracker roll was decent, and the Dragon roll was fantastic (if you like eel). Also, got the eel donburi which was a tasty and the eel was delicious. The pork loin katsu was a bit dry but overall okay.

Kabuki serves lunch and dinner. You can choose to sit on the hibachi side or the side with table and chairs and no hibachi grill. The sushi is wonderful and usually looks just as wonderful as it tastes. I love the mussels with cheese. They might not look as appealing as other food but I assure you that if you like mussels and you like cheese then you will really like this dish. The owner convinced me to eat the heads of the shrimp. They really were good. Just don’t look into their eyes as you eat the shrimp heads. I highly recommend the scallops if you’re wanting a hibachi meal. I haven’t found anything I did not like. The food is wonderful, the chefs are entertaining and the wait staff are always around when you need them.

This is the kind of sushi bar you go to for the food, not the ambiance. Service was excellent, although to be fair it was a slow time. Portions were quite large. I was surprised by how thick the slices of sashimi were. Definitely good value, even if the feel is more like a diner than a sushi restaurant.
