This is a convenient bar and grill if you are in the neighborhood of MSG-find it in the rotunda. The food is better than expected. My burger was char-grilled and was accompanied by tasty onion rings. Onion soup was delightful and served with a large piece of garlic bread. Don’t be put off that this is “in the garden”. It’s clean and worth the trip.

I had a great experience at Side Bar! The vibe was exactly what I was looking for—the music was curated perfectly.
A huge shoutout to Berne. I’m usually pretty picky and asked for a drink that wasn’t too sweet; he listened and delivered a Hugo Spritz that was perfectly balanced. To top it off, I asked for a to go drink and the presentation easily was one of the most aesthetically pleasing drinks I’ve ever had.
Great music, beautiful drinks, and top-tier service from Berne. I’ll definitely be back!

We had lunch yesterday at Kabooz’s Bar & Grill in Penn Station, New York City. We tried the chicken steak with vegetables and the grilled chicken burger with veggies, and both dishes were delicious and flavorful. The service was pleasant, and overall, we had a very good experience.

Didn’t know there are two locations. Met up with some colleagues before Knick game. We were separated at first, I was at bar they were at restaurant. The bar was lit!!!! The bacon cheeseburger was so hot and juicy, cooked to perfection. When my peeps finally found their way, they enjoyed their food too. The service was awesome and the drinks were made with “love”. We had a blast! Good music, great food. Start your game night at Kabooz!

I loved this place! The food is tasty and reasonably priced. It’s clean, too. It’s a great spot for dinner with family or drinks with friends. It’s incredible that there’s such an affordable place in such a hyper-capitalistic area. I want to open a restaurant like this one in Japan.

Worth Missing the Train For.
I love this place. My favorite thing on the menu is the steak—it’s honestly one of the best I’ve had. Juicy, full of flavor, and seasoned just right. The mashed potatoes taste homemade, super comforting and well-seasoned. The spinach isn’t just steamed and forgotten—it’s actually flavorful too.
I also tried the fried catfish, and wow… it reminded me of my trip to New Orleans. Crispy and perfectly flavored!
They have a great chef and the staff is polite. Overall, the whole place has a really chill, welcoming vibe. If you’re waiting for a train nearby, skip the next one and grab a bite here. Not sponsored—just genuinely love this place.

Casual dining spot/bar conveniently located at Penn Station so that you can grab a bite or quick drink ahead of your scheduled travel time. My friend and I came here for appetizers and cocktails before I had to catch my train.

We were seated at one of the mini tables for two and when we asked for a booth, the server denied our request. Then after she accidentally spilled one of our drinks on our table, we asked again politely to be seated at the empty booth across from us, and we had to get three rounds of approvals before they finally gave in. This is the reason for knocking off a star.

For appetizers, we ordered the vegetarian nachos and mozzarella sticks. Everything tasted fine and the food came out pretty quickly. For drinks, we ordered a gin fizz and a Manhattan. Both were sufficiently strong and not too sweet.

The atmosphere is very chill and the Christmas decorations added a nice touch but the music is just too loud for my taste.

Big plus is that their restrooms are immaculate—the cleanest I’ve seen at a NY sports bar.

All in all, I recommend coming to this restaurant if you have a reason to be waiting at Penn Station, for the speedy service, decent food and drinks.

I’m currently visiting from out of town and found this restaurant online, so I decided to give it a try, and I am glad that I did! The atmosphere was welcoming and I was seated quickly. My server, Clayton, was a delight as well. He was well mannered and made sure that I received exactly what I ordered, understanding that I have severe allergies. Great service and good food, will recommend to others back home.

It’s tucked away in Penn station so to speak a secret tip, because you’d not easily find it just walking the street, and not traveling but what an awesome place! Very friendly staff and Bar management, Sally is amazing! Secret tip: the bar has two sections! One is more bar, one is more restaurant, the energy is great! And they have surprise promo events which add extra energy to the experience! I loved it!
