**Under New Ownership** As of January 2024 this place has new ownership and chef, but kept the same name.
I stopped in for lunch and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. The family that owns this quaint restaurant is from Karachi, so this is authentic Pakistani cuisine, not the typical flavorless kabob joint!
They have a interesting menu with all the typical grilled and curried favs. I tried their chicken karahi (A.K.A. Chicken Qarai) and asked for it spicy and it was perfect! Lots of nice spice flavor, as well as decent heat. I also opted for their chicken biryani and it was spot-on! The chicken in it was flavored excellently and tender too, definitely not over-cooked and the rice was the proper texture, not too moist and gummy.
There was so much food, I took half home and saved room for dessert, as they have home made kheer here. The kheer was really really good!!
They’re working on getting their food delivery set up too… Stop in and give them a try!

Wow! Just wow! The food is delicious and the service is phenomenal with affordable prices. They have a good variety of foods to try. Recommend this place for Kabob food. It’s probably the best I ever had

I’ve spent time in Afghanistan, Pakistan, North Africa, and Arabia…and i love their food. The Kabob Room is Pakistani style and the food is really excellent quality, and the portions are large. The chicken kabob was grilled perfectly, moist and super flavorful. The rice, chick peas and grilled hot peppers were delicious. The “green sauce” was about the best I’ve ever had. This restaurant offers dining in but the place is kind of small. The dining area is informal but super clean and nicely decorated. Highly recommended.

I was excited for this place because of the excellent reviews I saw, but I was disappointed after my meal. I don’t know if it was a bad day, but my experience does not match these other reviewers. I got there at 11:30 on a Saturday and they weren’t even fully open yet. The meal took a while to be made for me to grab and leave, and the prices are definitely not anywhere near lunch prices not do they match the quality of the food. I got the #15, lamb kebab. I’ve loved lamb kabobs in the past, having spent some time in England eating the kebabs there most every day. Unfortunately the meat here was really tough and pretty dry, making it hard to chew and bite through. The rice was a little dry too. The served bread was chewy and didn’t match the delicacy of the breads I’ve had before. It was overall a big disappointment. The only saving grace I found was the portion size was decent for the price.

Fresh and very well cooked bbq items. My mother never likes bbq chicken from restaurants because it’s not cooked properly most of the times but here she loved it because it was juicy, full of flavor and well cooked. We ordered three meals but chicken tikka was the best. Their naan and rice are also very tasty. Definitely check them out. Cute little halal restaurant!

Kabob room Stafford has new management now and the owner brings amazing taste to your table! We tried their Mutton Karahi, Butter chicken and paya and it was beyond delicious! So far this is the best Pakistani tasting food I have had in Virginia

Everything here is fresh made to order. Because of that, it’s sometimes a bit of a wait to get your food. That being said, it’s 100% worth the wait. My go to is the chicken tikka masala (spicy). It’s absolutely amazing. The spicy is definitely hot, so be prepared for that. I’ve also had the beef kabobs, which were legit. The naan is some of the best I’ve had. I’d try anything on the menu and am positive it would deliver.

I was nearby so decided to look for Halal Restaurants in Northern Virginia close to where we were going. Was surprised to find this place in this small town.
The food was good and so was the service. I ordered the Beef Seekh Kabab. It comes with rice, naan, salad and your choice of Chana Masala or Spinach. I asked for it just with the naan since I’m not much of a veggie person and am picky with my rice. They ended up offering me a second naan instead.
The Kabab was good. As was the tandoori chicken tikka.
It is a small place. Maybe 5-6 small tables. Really casual and more of a takeout place I’d imagine. The food is served in paper plates but the taste of the food is matters to me. They must do well with the hotels in the area. Food is made fresh after you order it so do expect a bit of a wait. Our food took 15-20 minutes. The owner and the person taking the order were both really friendly.

Very good. Under the new management, Kabob Room serves Pakistani food, and has expanded the menu quite a bit. Everything I have tried is delicious. They even have potato kabobs if you are vegetarian!
