Kebabs, salads, pita sandwiches & wine in a quaint, family-run Greek eatery with a shady patio.

I have been eating here since I was little and it is still one of my favorite authentic family owned restaurants in Folsom. Tonight we enjoyed eating outside on their patio. The service has continually been superb for years. The food has always continually been amazing. We always recommend this to lots of people and will continue to go back over and over and over again

I have eaten here countless times since I was a teenager. They even hosted a relative’s wedding dinner. The sauces and dips are delicious. Employees are courteous. I love the decorations and music they have, to in a very home-made feel. Cannot recommend enough.

Eaten here at least three times; the most recent was last night, when I had a large gyro sandwich with a side salad. The service and atmosphere was great; the food was fresh, but mediocre: too much lettuce; very little tomatoes, olives or other produce. The gyro is competitively priced, but had noticeably less meat than competitors’ gyros, and the tzatziki is mostly just yogurt.

I went there two weeks back and ordered shish kabob, it came with salad, rice and bread. I liked the taste but its nothing like a kabob, they are chicken tikkas grilled and provided with barbecue sauce on it.
It’s over priced as per what taste they are serving, chicken quantity is fine but there is very less rice.
Ambience is good, they have real grapes hanging from the roof in their outside seating. It looks nice.
I have also got the food delivered from there, that time I ordered garlic chicken. It came with rice ,bread n salad but the presentation was very poor. 2 pieces of chicken that was grilled was thrown on some rice.

The food was OK. The waiter was so preoccupied with talking with the other diners such that we waited for our orders for at least 20 minutes.

Dry as hell and overpriced. My families first time ordering here. I got 2 orders of beef kabob and 1 chicken kabob. I was a little surprised by the price. At $18 an entree I had high expectations. Meat was dry. Overcooked. Had no moisture aside from the sauce on it. Chicken in particular was lacking seasoning, you have to add salt just to swallow it, not kidding. In your entree you get rice, 2 skewers, salad, and a piece of bread. All that would be fine if the meat tasted good. Save your money, I don’t recommend this place. Disappointing experience.

I’ve been enjoying the Kabob House food for 27 years! I used to live and work in Folsom and frequented this little gem. I since moved to Roseville so my visits are fewer so this is not glamorous but I highly recommend the restaurant, patio is charming! The BBQ sauce is amazing! I always buy a bottle when I visit! And today I grabbed a garlic chicken lunch to go in between appointments so pardon the car photo! They plate everything nicely in person!

Ordered our meal through a delivery app and was very disappointed after opening the Togo boxes. Didn’t even come with basmati rice, the lamb kabob was flavorless and dry. The garlic chicken looked like it was as precooked, bough frozen at the store, and microwaved before serving it to us. It also came with regular white rice..isn’t basmati rice the standard for these dishes. Very sub par for the price you pay for their food. Save you self the trouble and drive the extra few miles to Essy’s Kabob on Madison. They serve excellent food and customer service is top notch!

First time here. Had a very enjoyable time. Read some reviews that complained that this isn’t authentic homemade Greek food. Well, get a clue, Sherlock. You’re not in Greece and you’re not is somebody’s home. At these (reasonable) prices you’re not going to be transported to a café in Corfu. The food was delicious, the decore pleasing and the experience Greek enough for me. Opa!

10/10 in service, atmosphere, and most importantly the food. Looking at some of the reviews I can see people have an issue with staff being friendly and conversing with customers apparently, so this isn’t the place for you if you’d like boring, uncaring staff. My personal favorite thing is the garlic chicken salad. Everything is ALWAYS fresh. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and I’ve NEVER had a bad experience.
