First time here and Hubby and I will definitely be back! We started off with Turkish coffee, then a sampler platter, then Hubby’s main meal and my bowl of lentil soup. Goodness, I didn’t even get half of my meal down it was so large! Our waitress was very attentive, kind and knowledgeable.

This has been my parent’s favorite little restaurant in Wichita for a while! They had been telling me all about it but never got the chance to take me until tonight. We walked in to check their hours (it was christmas eve) and the owner said to come on in. Mr. Mohamed was so kind and considerate. He served us nearly an hour past closing time.
My dad and I got the chicken kabob and my mom got the whole fried fish! The rice is perfect and my dad (who is a very picky eater!) finished his entire plate! The fish was my personal favorite (it’s a whole fish including the head so grow up if that scares you!). I’ve never had Iraqi food before. Such a lovely restaurant with great food and the sweetest staff and owner!

Chicken was good but the meat was horrible. We went to this place with 3 friends and ordered mixed kababs. Each of us had the same complain. The meet was probably expired and it was smelling disgusting. We told the waitress and she didn’t even care. Manager came and she didn’t care about that too. They didn’t even apologize and treated us like it was our fault. Each of us already ate the beef meat less than half and each of us got sick right after. If we get worse we will definitely sue them. We have the receipt and the pictures to prove it. And also recorded the conversation with the waitress and the manager. Will never go back and if you decide to go, please smell the meat first before eat.

This is hands-down one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to the food was amazing. The rice is perfectly well cooked. The lamb was amazing, this is an awesome little atmosphere a hidden gym in Wichita. There’s only a few of them. This is one of them. You must try to see if it was awesome.

Little hole-in-the-wall place that my brother recommended and they did not dissappoint! I had the grape leaves for an appetizer and they were perfect. Probably the most flavorful hummus I have had in my life and their rice was absolutely delicious. I finished with a dessert I hadn’t heard of before and I can’t think of the name of it, but I’m including a picture. It’s quite tasty and sweet (but not overly so). Takes awhile to get your food but it was worth the wait. My only disappointment was that the restaurant was warmer than I’d like, especially with it being summer. Can’t wait to go again!

Food is always fresh and tasty every time I come here. I loved the kabaji sampler, mix kabob, lamb chops, gyros, and Arabic coffee. They give plenty of a portion size for your buck too. The hummus is very smooth and the salad is addicting. The staff are very friendly, attentive and accommodating. I wish this place gets more recognition because we need places like this in Wichita.

This food is absolutely delicious along with great pricing. It’s definitely a hidden gem in Wichita. The knafeh dessert was so different. When she said it’s sweet melted cheese. I was like, “What that’s not gonna be right.” Man, was I wrong it is so delicious. The picture is it after we had already eaten half of it. I will definitely be going back!!!
